Manny vs Pyr0ma5ta

Luis vs LotusHead: Luis storms his way pays my Thorn with Yawgmoth's Will to hardcast Memory Jar in hopes of hitting and playing Time Walk before my Welder gets active. (I had dupelicant in my graveyard). The ploy works and Luis wins!

Dan vs Jeff Huang. Everything went exactly wrong for Dan, as far as I could tell.

Iain vs Austin in the swiss. Iain got Austin 2-0

David Peterson vs Webster.

Manny vs Junior.

Akroma and her Blazing Archon lover enter the red zone. (you thought she and Razia were lez? what?)

Pyr0ma5ta's Pimp Ichroid piloted by Mr. Ichroid himself Vegeta2711.

Stan's Platinum Angel takes it home as David ran out of outs.

Junior's Bitch Play of Arcane Laboratory on turn 1 of extra turns. The game ends in a draw...

Ichorid Math

David resolves a Bargain at 18 Life. Austin's thirst was pretty good. Lotus, ETW, Mox, pitching Aether Spell Bomb. He got 10 tokens and David somehow FIZZED on his YawgWill turn. With Bargain Out. at 18 Life. It happens. (Austin was sweating bullets...)

1st turn duress... I see...

Austin vs Junior in semi-finals. One of Team Vacaville advances to the finals and you gotta be DAMNED sure they are gonna play it out to see who "gets there".

Junior's hand

And much trashtalking ensued.

Luis pretty much knew Iain had will in hand, just checking the graveyard. But it was fun to watch their match because they both wanted to win, but didn't exactly want a Shop. They're here to play.

Tap out for Bargain, go!

Yep. 10 Goblins. Junior's Oath of Druids got exploded or bounced at least 4 times in one game.

Luis oversees the finals: Iain vs Austin. Austin got Darkrit Duress Thoughtseized but rips thirst off the top and all is well. His Trinket Mage (and eventually Mage #2) went the distance. Austin sat on Time Walk and played it masterfully when it meant GG. (I would have played it sooner knowing about 6 MD Duresses, but then again, Austin won this and I didn't). You gotta have balls to play Vintage, right?

14 tokens, Salvager, Trinket Mage, one untap away from victory. Iain's deck seemed to randomly crap out both games in the finals. I didn't see his hands, but Austin won this.
Austin said his deck got to kill in every way the deck can. Combo with Auriok Salvagers, Tinker for Colossus, Goblin beat down, Trinket Mage Beatdown, Salvager Beatdown and the ever classic Bargain Lock/Fizzle. No Mana Crypt wins however.
My mini-report:
Round 1: Jonathan Wang with Gat
Game 1: I get Spheres and Thorns down (the first few of which get countered, but I'm playing 9 of them today!) and he eventually scoops to Crucible Strip/Sphere count)
Game 2: I bust out with early Chalice for 1 and Chalice for 2, but he plays Energy Flux, which with a resolved Goblin Welder and Guilded Lotus makes me lose one actual permanent initially. I fortuitously topdeck Tolarian Academy like a Champ and with Guilded Lotus, I keep my shit in play and kill a 'tog with a 'Trike. Go me.
Round 2: Luis Scott-Varga with SuperLong
Game 1: I get thorn(s) out and he tinkers for colossus and kills me
Game 2: He ETW's trough 2 spheres for 8 goblins and I die
Round 3: Vegeta2711 with Ichorid
My teammates commandeered all of the team leylines and I forget that I am only using 3 proxies I could proxy up 4 laylines but don't follow through.
Josh goes through the motions and demolishes me. There really is no chance for me to win without Platnum Angel protected by chalce at 1 and 2 , Leylines and luck, opponent mulling to 2 while I first turn tinker, etc.
Round 4: Pyr0ma5ta
I kick the fucking everliving shit out of him. Thanks to his TimeTwistering both games.

All good.
Pyr0 invited us to Cube Draft, and it was a great experience getting to see what the fuss was about.
My Cube Draft deck looked great on paper, but sucked in real life. CUBE DRAFTERS: Draft 2 colors MAX. My deck was BWR TurboLand Stax. :/ Reanimator TurboLand Stax. It was fun!
@islanderboi10 The deck was indeed 60 cards!
Props:
Jeff for having a T1 tourney for first time in like "Since 5th Dawn"
Austin for taking, getting there, not noobing
PyroMasta for having family in Norcal to come back to to play some Vintage
Sylvestry for trying
JeffTheFob for taking TWO for the team, in 4 rounds of swiss. Tough breaks, man.
Luis for being a swell guy
Webster for being a cold-hearted Killer and beating Finkel that one time
