Sphere of Resistance and Force of Will

If I have a Sphere of Resistance in play (all spells cost an additional  to play), does Force of Will (pay 1 life, 1 blue card instead of casting cost) cost a in addition or is it still just 1 life and a blue card? Likewise to all other cards played like Force of Will, Gush (return 2 islands to hand instead of casting cost) Etc. I hope this question makes sense.

Alternate casting costs are affected by Sphere of resistance, so FOW would either cost or  , 1 life, and rfg a blue card. The same is true for gush's alternate casting cost as well.

Basically, any time you would play a spell, Sphere makes you pay  more for it (includes playing a card by prowl, playing an imprinted spell off isochron sceptor, and even playing a card without paying its mana cost from mind's desire - they all cost 1 more in addition to any other costs to play the card).
