So I will be graduating in a few weeks and making my way out west.
From what Jerry Yang tells me there is a very awesome MTG scene in Colorado.
Just wanted to hear from some folks out there where the best places to play are located and what the tourney's are like.

Crazy Carl usually holds a tournament (whether it be for Cash or a Mox) every month/2 months. Other than that, the Colorado Crew usually gathers at Lou's every now and then, roll up a huge fatty, and proceed to get faded and fishbowl.

FNM at Mile High Comics is also pretty chill. You'll find most Vintage players in CO to be extremely laid back.

Outside of Magic, there's a ton of shit to do. Too much to list here.

You picked one hell of a state to move to!

What's your name?

What are you coming out here for now, and where will you be living?

Colorado is an awesome place, for sure.

My name is Josh Chapple.
I used to play magic a while ago and then ended up quiting and getting back into the game about 18 months ago.
I ended up meeting some real rad folks out this way that got me psyched on the game again.
Namely Mark Trogdon, Jerry Yang, Nam Q Tran, Ed Brain, John Blystone and a bunch more folks.

I'm moving out there because I will be graduating from college in a week and well, I want to see more of the country.  My initial destination is Breckenridge for the summer, but as soon as winter hits I'm goin' to migrate down into Denver.

You got this completely backwards brother. Denver is hoppin' in the summer, and Summit County is THE place to be in the winter. Shoot any of us a PM and we'll gladly play some cards.

Colorado is a pretty amazing state to live in. The Magic scene is pretty decent as well. Looking forward to playing cards with a new person.

Yeah I realize this.
But my intentions lie in bike riding and wandering through the mountains.
Since I have no desire to either ski or snowboard I've made my decision based on that.
But then again, I am pretty irrational.
