I'm so terribly tempted to show up to one of these things, even though I don't own any cards any more and haven't played Vintage in a couple years now.  The full proxy format makes it so very tempting though.  Maybe I'll make it down on the 11th, we'll see.

That's the joy of it!  You can proxy any deck you want.  We have new players, or players who are interested in other formats who want to give Vintage a shot, and this is the perfect format.

Alara Reborn will be legal this week, to give everyone a tournament to prep for ELD's Mox XXIII this weekend, May 2nd.

Scholar's is improving the prize payout at Monday Night Vintage!  We're taking what was an already insane prize structure, and making it strictly better for the players!  Now you can play for Cash or Store Credit!  When you make Top 4, you get a choice of your prize as Cash or Credit!  We're working out the details, but it's down to two options.

Here's the prize payout for 12 people with the same $6 entry fee:

1st $24.00 in Cash or $38.40 in credit
2nd $18.00 in Cash or $28.80 in credit
3rd $12.00 in Cash or $19.20 in credit
4th $6.00 in Cash or $9.60 in credit

Here's the prize payout for 12 people moving up to $10 entry fee:

1st $43.20 in Cash or $63.84 in credit
2nd $32.40 in Cash or $47.88 in credit

That first one looks pretty solid. If its like 8 participants, per say, what are we looking at? I mean looking at that there, cash wise, if we get 1st we quadruple up, 2rd triple up, 3rd double up, and fourth return our inverstment as well as had a great time playing! So I was just wonder how far off, from that, it goes with only 8 people because, at its worst attendance thats where it was at.

Since we're now doing an the huge cash payouts, entry fees should be paid in cash.  Credit Cards can not be accepted for entries.  It is possible for Debit Cards to be taken, but cash is preferable.
