I have been working on a swans deck for standard and im looking for some advice...

So far I am running RU I dont know if this is the best source of colors for the deck...but take a look and tell me what you think...any advice is greatly appreciated..

2 gaea's blessing
4 seismic assault
4 dakmor salvage
2 country side crusher
4 Swans of Bryn Argoll
4 pyroclasm
2 shard volley
2 rift bolt
1 incinerate
4 rite of flame
4 ponder
4 rune snag

4 Shivan Reef
4 gemstone mine
8 mountain
7 islands


I havent worked out a sideboard yet but i know its going to have vexing shusher and turn to mist in it....dont know what else... like i said all ideas and suggestions are greatly appreciated...

I think U/R are the perfect (and most necessary colors for it).

Reduce your Seismic Assaults to either 2 or 3.
Perhaps reduce the Dakmors to 2 or 3 as well?  Once you have 2, you can setup for endgame, ya know?
I've considered running Pyrohemia: 1 Life, R for 1 Card, 1 Dmg to opponent and all his creatures while Swans is in Play.

As for sideboard, I'd probably worry mostly have other decks that may 'abuse' Swans (ie RDW).  May in that match, run a more traditional counter-burn deck?

I built a GRWB version of the deck and took it to regionals... i went 6-2 and came in 18th place out of like 180 people at columbus oh.  I think this deck has potential

Someone runs a similar deck to this at the place I go for Friday night magic, only he uses lotus blooms to get the seismic out, uses damnation out of the sideboard, and has more counter spells.
