I am posting this here because I don't have access to the six of one post.

Control Slaver
By Stephen Menendian

3 Island
2 Flooded Strand
3 Polluted Delta
2 Underground Sea
4 Volcanic Island
1 Tolarian Academy
1 Mana Crypt
1 Mana Vault
1 Lotus Petal
1 Sol Ring
1 Mox Jet
1 Mox Pearl
1 Mox Ruby
1 Mox Emerald
1 Mox Sapphire
1 Black Lotus
4 Force Of Will
4 Mana Drain
4 Thirst For Knowledge
1 Ancestral Recall
1 Brainstorm
1 Ponder
1 Demonic Tutor
1 Merchant Scroll
1 Mystical Tutor
1 Vampiric Tutor
1 Time Walk
1 Gifts Ungiven
1 Tinker
1 Yawgmoth's Will
1 Tormod's Crypt
1 Darksteel Colossus
2 Mindslaver
1 Triskelion
4 Goblin Welder
1 Echoing Truth
1 Fire / Ice
1 Rack And Ruin

Sideboard:
4 Leyline
1 Tormod's Crypt
2 Extirpate
1 Sundering Titan
2 Pyroclasm
2 Rack and Ruin
1 Pyroblast
2 Red Elemental Blast

The list is not very good.  Here is why.  Remember Weissman's 4 Shaman, 2 Miner list?  I'm sure you do.  It was flawed and this list has the same flaw only exacerbated as well and many other flaws.

1)  It gets raped by swords to plowshares and BEB.  Weissman's 4 Shaman, 2 Miner list suffered from this same problem.  Swords is actually broken against it.  My anti-aggro cards come in form the sideboard and own this deck.  BEB not only counters or kills welder for one mana, it also weakens you REB that you are sideboarding in against me.  Furthermore, you actually have artifact creatures for the win condition exacerbating the swords problem.  Finally, inlike Weissman's 4 shaman, 2 miner list, you can't desideboard the welders.  Ugh, UWRbg rapes this.  When you factor in that swords and BEB will be staples in control due to the stupid quantity of Blood Moons and Magus, slaver looks like a no go, if anyone just makes a clean UWR list.

2) This deck loses the mana battle in the control mirror badly.  4 Wastelands, 1 Strip Mine, 2 Shaman (1SB), 2 Interdict (1SB) anybody?

3) YAwgmoth's Will is a bad regrowth in this deck.

4) It does not have the capacity to threaten Mindtwist in the control Mirror.

5) Disenchant will be better against 1 Trini, 4 Thorns, 4 SPhere than RAck and Ruin.  I suggest 3 Shaman, 2 Disenchant, 1 Energy Flux personally.  That's boarding 4.

6) You will regret not having white in the new meta, I think.

If you're going to troll, at least be effective about it. This trick is to be subtle about it. Or if you must be blatant and start a new thread and everything, make it humorous. I mean, suggest things that are just COMPLETELY off the wall. And you HAVE to suggest your own list. Something involving basic Plains and Nekrataals would have at least brought a smile to my face and gotten you some points.

The effort is clearly lacking, though I applaud the initiative and timeliness simply because trolling rarely gets successfully pulled off around here.

Lol, i thought for sure we defeated the nazis in world war two.  Very effective, correct, and spot on if i do say so myself.

UWRbg beats slaver hands down.  I'm sure once steve reflects on the swords/BEB and mana battle problem he will come to the same conclusion.

No brainstorm means no Combo-Control.  Sorry, Steve.  Better learn to play Weissman.

What I think is wrong with the list is the following:
1 Darksteel Colossus
2 Mindslaver
1 Triskelion

I've been playing Slaver for several years and put up good results with it so I think I know whan I'm talking about... I always tried to limit the number of big artifact to a bare minimum since, barring a quick TFK they are virtually dead draws.
Why would you want to play 2 Mindslavers?
Colossus has become worse now that Brainstorm is restricted and you'll have a hard time shuffling it back in your deck.
And Triskelavus >>> Triskelion imo, since :
- it creates extra permanants which poses a problem for Stax
- It flies (the tokens too)
- can do nice Welder tricks
- better at chump blocking multiple creatures

My bots include only a Mindslaver and a Triskelavus.
And btw, Gorilla Shaman is kinda good too. Not only can it destroy annoying artifacts like Chilices and Null Rods, it can also kill an opponent's mana base AND makes a nice combo with Welder.
