First off, I try to follow the vintage scene as much as I can but I have no tournament experience and I know my last deck idea was terrible but this, I think, could viable if I could get some feedback on how to optimize this. I know the list I have right now is sub-optimal but I like it so far and as I stated earlier I think this has potential. It also happens to have a lot of my favorite cards in it, so some choices may be a bit biased. This deck will also need cards cut because it's over sixty.

The updated lists are at the bottom of the page.

URB Replicate Storm
Mana: 27
1 Black Lotus
1 Mox Jet
1 Mox Ruby
1 Mox Sapphire
1 Chrome Mox
1 Mox Diamond
1 Lotus Petal
4 Volcanic Islands
4 Steam Vents
4 Water Grave
4 Underground Sea
4 Badlands
Creatures: 8
4 Simian Spirit Guide
4 Djinn Illuminatus
2 Magus of the Future OR Future Sight
Disruption: 20
2 Extirpate
2 Wipe away
4 Thoughtseize
2 Duress
4 FoW
4 Mana Drain
2 Chain of Vapor
Card Draw: 12
1 Ancestral Recall
4 Opt
4 Serum Visions
1 Time Spiral
1 Frantic Search
1 Ponder
Tutors:5
1 Demonic Tutor
1 Vampiric tutor
1 Imperial Seal
1 Merchant Scroll
1 Mystical tutor
Fast Mana Spells: 12
4 High Tide
4 Dark Ritual
4 Rite of Flame
Kill Conditions: 4
1 Yawgmoth's Will
1 Brainfreeze
2 Invoke the Firemind
Random Broken: 1
1 Time Walk

So yeah it's a whopping 80+ cards right now. Finding things to take out is always the hardest part so I definitely need help with that.

Temporary Sideboard
1Pulverize
1 Animate Dead
2 Misdirection
1 Stifle
2 Pithing Needle
2 Twincast/Fork
2 Wee Dragonaughts
4 Tormod's Crypt

Other sideboard ideas:
Tinker
Platinum Angel
DSC
Oath of Druids transformational Sideboard
4 Leyline of Lifeforce
Hurkyl's Recall
Rebuild

Here's how the deck works. You want to get Djinn Illuminatus on the board between turns 1 and 3. There should be enough disruption to protect him and enough mana excel to make this possible. I really love this card, it's (IMHO) pretty busted and underused. Once he hits the table you can start replicating your High Tides, Rites of Flame, Time Walks, Ancestral Recalls, Opts, tutors, general disruption and Serum Visions. Notice I did not include Brainstorm, I don't feel that it interacts very well (or at least as well) with replicate as the others which dig faster and better and it's nice to have Opt and Serum Visions as 4 ofs, while Brainstorm will end up just drawing and putting back the exact same cards every replication. I'm not denying the power of Brainstorm, it just doesn't synergize very well with the rest of the deck at all. Frantic Search can dig really well and since it untaps lands you can replicate it infinitely (I think) it is very good under the influence of High Tide especially a super replicated High Tide.
Dark Ritual should be able to infinitely replicate it self to set up for a massive Invoke the Firemind. This is also true of High Tide and Rite of Flame (especially if there are already a few Rites of Flame in your yard). This also bumps up storm count for Brainfreeze. Simian Spirit guide can boost red mana pretty well.
Magus of the Future or Future Sight, whichever one you prefer, allows you to A. basically have and 8 card hand and B. Replicate spells of the top of your library. If you are playing Magus though, you can resort to a beatdown approach with Djinn if need be.
Most of the disruption cards are self explanatory. I chose mana drains for the incredible mana boost you get after countering an opponent's spell (you know, like how everyone uses drain) further adding to power a higher Invoke or Storm count or an earlier Djinn.
The tutors should also be self explanatory. Imperial Seal, Mystical tutor, and Vampiric tutor also work really well with Magus/Future Sight in that combo making them all strictly better than Demonic Tutor.
Now to the artifact/land mana sources. I only used on color moxes because I wanted more room for Island based dual lands for High Tide.

Now to some of the cards that could work really well in this deck but I haven't decided on cutting or replacing things yet. I need feedback first.
1. Gush can let you replay one island untapped for High Tide and draws two cards for free, I just feel it is (much like Brainstorm) not very compatible with the replicate mechanic like the tutors, Serum Visions, Ponder and Opt are.
2. Dark Confidant, same deal, it's a great card but is outclassed by the other draw spells and is non-replicable. Also the Ravinca Duals and Thoughtseize will already be giving you plenty of life loss.
3. Wheel of Fortune, an easily replicated draw seven. Not as good as Time Spiral in this deck which helps High Tide out alot.
4. Mind Over Matter, still a strong possibility but it is pretty expensive. There are already better, high costed spells I'm using. Basically it's mana cost is too prohibitive.
5. Intuition and AK draw engine. This would actually work really well especially replicating and AK with three in the yard but it's just too vulnerable to graveyard hate which will always be abundant against combo decks.
6. Tolarian Academy, also a possibility but this deck is low on artifacts and High Tide should do well enough.
7. Basic Islands, this deck is very afraid of wastelands but I wanted a smoother mana base so I settled on the Duals that interact with High Tide.
8. Crucible of Worlds, like I said, this deck is afraid of wastelands but there is no way to fit this card in (IMHO).
9. Settled on Stifle in the SB instead of Trickbind. It all depends on the meta I guess.

Now the sideboard I have listed is full of random meta dependent staples. It should also be easy to make a tinker Oath transformational board to get your Djinn and Magus out quicker as well as maybe adding some beatdown.
The Oath SB might look like this:
4 Forbidden Orchard (side out the 4 Badlands)
1/2  Tidespout Tyrant (side out 1 Djinn)
2/4 Oath of Druids
1 Platinum Angel
2 Seedtime
1 Mox emerald
1 Tinker
1 DSC
etc.[/s]

If you think you will be in a counterspell.dec heavy metagame you should add Leyline of Lifeforce.
Anyway, that's the my list currently. I would really appreciate feed back on what to cut and whether or not it's viable (I think it could be) and if it's not viable how to possible to make it viable.

I am dubious as to the effectiveness of this deck, but if you want to take a look around at similar previous deck ideas look for some Izzet Control decks - they have a bit more finesse than what you have here (although less punch) and you can make use of some of the work and research that's already been done on this topic.

That said, Izzet Control is a blast to play assuming that know the stack inside and out.  It helps if you keep a printed copy of the comp rules for timing that you can pass to the opponent and judge Razz

Why not streamline the deck and run Oath Main, Oath up illuminatus, Tutor up Pack of the Titan, make a million dudes, Give them Haste, Swing for the win.  You could eliminate things like Magus or Future Sight, High tides, Rituals, etc...
Oath could be a SB choice since you are running Drains, and take a heavy combo control aspect.

That's a really good idea. Thanks for the feedback. I would love to see someone try out this deck and see if it is actually workable. I really think Djinn Illuminatus is a pretty busted combolicious creature that never sees play. I would love to see if this works in the new meta as an oath variant.

If you build without oath main, Anger is the obvious choice as long as you have a discard outlet.
Flame-kin,  Fires of Yavimaya are the other options.
Another route would be something like Alter of Dementia, ashnod's alter, and go for the win that way.

But I think Anger is the best choice here.

Anger sucks with oath, as mentioned, but Mass hysteria/Concordant crossroads is an easy, one-mana solution.

I think I'm gonna go the mass hysteria route. Fires is too mana intensive and off color as is concordant crossroads. I'll try to post a new decklist soon. Thanks for the input.

Note that Djinn Illuminatus *cannot* create infinite mana with Dark Ritual becuase the replicate costs must be paid at [del]hte[/del] the time the spell is cast - not upon its resolution.  Therefore you cannot use the mana it creates to replicate its effect - I thought the same thing once upon a time but this is a very real limitation.  Hightide is interesting - another consideration is that copies of the spell with replicate are never "played" but placed on the stack the same way storm [del]cards[/del] copies are placed on the stack.  This means that you cannot resolve a Djinn Illuminatus and play a lone Dark Ritual and replicate it x times to get X copies of Tendrils to hit your opponent in the head.  Djinn Illuminatus is OBSCENE with Regrowth + Time Walk though.  2GG grabs your Time Walk and also finds your Regrowth (because it *should* be in the graveyard in its final stage of resolution - right?  I may be mistaken here)  If not, you can something like Recollect to do the same thing (it will also bring back dark rituals to generate massive mana using this strategy).

Edit (and above marked with the del tag):
Of course another infinite Time Walk strategy is to use Spellweaver Helix with Time Walk and Recoup - intuition is your best firend in this scenario.

Happy tinkering with the Djinn - one other thing you might want to consider if you want to go that route is Show and Tell.  It's pretty strong against anything but Yawgmoth's Bargain or the ever-annoying Duplicant/Stingscourger.

Good to know, that makes me want to try an oath variant even more so I can throw in regrowths. I also still want to try a high tide version. I'll try post two decklists soon. Or if anyone else has a good decklist idea straight up feel free to let me know. I really think Illuminatus is underrated and busted as hell and think some form of replicate combo could be competitive in the new meta. High Tide version should definitely have Drains though as well as Time Spiral, Timetwister, and maybe 1 Palinchron with a brainfreeze kill. The URGB ReplicOath version running Regrowth, black disruption, Time Walk, Mass Hysteria and Pact of the Titan will probably be a superior build but URB DjinnTide will be more fun to play.

Regrowth can't return itself - a sorcery/instant goes to the grave as the last part of resolving, long after targets are selected. Even if Regrowth said "Return a card in your graveyard to your hand", you couldn't return itself.

Here's 2 updated decklists, 1 going the oath direction and one going the high tide direction.
ReplicOath (Final cut on Oath version)
Creatures: 3
3 Djinn Illuminatus
Disruption: 15
4 Duress
4 Extract
2 Extirpate
4 FoW
1 Wipe Away
Tutors: 4
1 Demonic Tutor
1 Vampiric Tutor
1 Mystical Tutor
1 Merchant Scroll
Draw: 8
1 Ancestral Recall
1 Ponder
3 Serum Visions
3 Opt
Combo/Broken:10
1 Yawgmoth's Will
1 Regrowth
1 Time Walk
1 Altar of Dementia
3 Oath of Druids
2 Pact of the Titan
1 Fastbond
1 Balance
Mana: 20
4 Forbidden Orchard
5 Moxen
1 Black Lotus
4 Underground Sea
4 Tropical Island
2 Bayou

Total card count is 60.
The goal of this deck is of course to get an early Djinn out with Oath. Tutor up Pact of the Titan and use Altar of Dementia deck the opponent. Now to some of the card choices.
Duress: I chose this over Thoughtseize because it replicates better, for fairly obvious reasons. If you have access to enough black mana this acts as a superior uncounterable Mind Twist.
Extract: This is an underplayed card that also replicates really well allowing you to remove all of your opponents bombs from their library in one fell swoop. It is cheap and it also works well enough to kill singleton bombs without a Djinn.
ExtirpateUncounterable card that again being only  {B} makes replication easy. Still I may cut this for more Cremates and Extracts main deck and possibly move this to the board or vice versa.
Wipe Away This is to get rid of those pesky Chalices. Chalice at 0,1, or 2 really really hurts this deck. Maybe these should be moved to the Sideboard.
Demonic Tutor/Mystical Tutor The top deck tutors help this deck but suck when replicated. These can be replicated and sculpt your hand to your desire.
I think I explained my card drawing choices well enough in the first post and the rest of the cards should be obvious. I really want to cut something for Dark Rituals which can replicate on top of each other (if you play one off another) and feed super duresses/extirpates/cremates. Everything else should be pretty obvious. With the cheap card draw. tutors, and large amounts of disruption (all easily replicatible) it should be easy to find and protect combo pieces. I know this deck still needs work though. I'll probably leave the Wipe Away to the sideboard to make this an even 60 cards. Any comments would be appreciated.

U/B Izzet Storm
Creatures: 4
3 Djinn Illuminatus
1 Magus of the Future/Future Sight
Disruption:14
2 Extract
4 Mana Drain
4 FoW
4 Duress
1 Rebuild
Card Draw: 6
1 Ancestral Recall
1 Ponder
3 Serum Visions
1 Time Spiral
1 Timetwister
Tutors: 4
1 Vampiric Tutor
1 Demonic Tutor
1 Merchant Scroll
1 Mystical tutor
Broken/Combo: 17
1 Time Walk
4 High Tide
4 Dark Ritual
2 Show and Tell
1 Yawgmoth's Will
1 Mind's Desire
1 Tendrils of Agony
2 Turnabout
1 Fastbond
Mana: 21
1 Lotus
1 Sol Ring
5 Moxen
4 Underground Sea
4 Island
Total card count: 61
This deck wants to get out an early Djinn using Drains, Show and Tell, and fast mana sources. This is much closer in functionality to the original list I posted. Magus of the Future or future sight allows you to replicate cards from the top of your library and can also easily be played off Drain mana, High Tides, and Show and Tell.
The disruption suite is pretty much the same but with less black and more blue (for drains). Time Spiral and Turnabout dig through the deck and raise storm count as well as untapping islands for high tide. Although one Dark Ritual can't replicate itself it can replicate other rituals and power out Tendrils or Duress. I feel the rest of the choices are fairly obvious.

Some other cards I've thought about for both decks but don't know how much better they would work. Also possible sideboard options.
Pandemonium (alternate kill in Oath version)
SSG  (In storm)
Palinchron  (In storm)
Cabal Ritual (In storm)
Twincast (In either list or sideboard/wishboard)
Hurkyl's Recall (In storm or sideboard/wishboard)
Rebuild (I only have 1 copy in storm and no copies in Oath)
Shattering Spree (For either version probably in sideboard)
Piracy Charm
Vision Charm
Ebony Charm
Funeral Charm
Midnight Charm
The charms could go in either deck I'll probably run a few maindeck in the final versions
Seedtime (In Oath sideboard)
Wipe Away (In sideboard/wishboard)
Cunning Wish (Really want to make this happen in both decks, I'll try to find some way to make room)
Reclaim (In Storm)
Surging Aether (In Storm again I really want to make room for this)
Surging Dementia (In Storm)
Thrumming Stone (In Storm, there are too many 1 ofs to make this really work here but I'm also going to post a legacy version of the storm deck where this might actually be good)
Frantic Search (In storm)
Demonic Consultation

Some of these would probably be in the sideboard but I would like to find a place for more main deck Rebuilds  (to build storm count in the Tide version as well as fight chalice which can really shut down either deck) in both decks and as I stated above, maybe Dark Rituals in the Oath version. Twincasts can be amazing in the drain mirror and can copy spells that would be harder to replicate as well as allowing you to replicate an opponent's spell  and shattering spree doesn't need Djinn in play to destroy loads of artifacts.
I would choose Rebuild over Hurkyl's because Chalice at 2 is likely and Rebuild also cycles.

Any criticism is more than welcome, I would love to know if either of these builds is viable and what I can do to improve them.
I will look at some other decklists and try to streamline these as much as possible.

I know the original idea was to use replicate for mass storm count ( doesn't work btw), but you could build an oath deck that uses eternal witness + yawgmoths will and play a tendrils storm deck that way; just throwing that out there for an Oath Storm deck idea for ya.

Well, I know that copies don't count for storm but I was going for replicating enough mana to play a bunch of spells and possibly even replicate Tendrils. I should probably have some Rebuilds in there though, I just don't know where. Also the Oath version doesn't storm anymore. It goes with a Pact of the Titan kill.

Replicate, Ripple, and Storm (Final Cut on Storm version)

Creatures: 3
3 Djinn Illuminatus
1 Wee Dragonaughts
Fast Mana: 4
4 Dark Ritual
Draw/Tutor: 13
1 Ponder
3 Diabolic Visions
1 Demonic Tutor
3 Serum Visions
4 Cunning Wish
1 Vampiric Tutor
Disruption: 16
4 Mana Drain
3 Extract
4 Thoughtseize
4 Twincast
Broken/Combo: 9
2 Thrumming Stone
1 Regrowth
1 Tinker
1 Time Walk
1 Mind's Desire
1 Tendrils of Agony
1 Fastbond
1 Yawgmoth's Will
Mana Base: 15
1 Black Lotus
5 Moxen
4 Underground Sea
4 Tropical Island
1 Gemstone Mine
Total Count: 60 cards

Wishboard/Sideboard: 15
1 Rebuild
1 Hurkyl's Recall
1 Ancestral Recall
2 Cabal Ritual
1 Seedtime
2 Extirpate
2 Rack and Ruin
4 Leyline of the Void
1 Frantic Search

Goal: To get out a Djinn and a Thrumming Stone off fast mana sources or Drains and use the synergy between Ripple, Replicate, and Storm effects to play through your whole deck. That's also why there are lots of 4 ofs in the deck, I tried to use as many as I could fit because they ripple better.
I've also added a wish board. If you ripple through 4 cunning wish and/or replicate a few copies you can go off with the more situational cards as well as having fast access to Hurkyl's Recall, Ancestral, and rebuild to help storm counts.
Most of the card choices should be obvious but I'll go over them anyway.
Ponder: As I've stated before Ponder is pretty awesome with replicate and can also set up your library for Ripple effects.
Diabolic Visions: Not as replicate friendly but will Ripple as a 3 of and digs 5 deep to set up more Ripple effects
Serum Visions: Replicates easily, ripples well, and sets up more ripple effects to build storm count.
Extract: Hits your opponent's bombs, Ripples easily as a four of, and is cheap and easy to replicate.
Thoughtseize: Ripples well as a four of to build storm and although the life loss makes replication painful it turns this card into a superior un-misdirectable Mind Twist.
Twincast: Lets you copy your opponents bomb instants and sorceries and replicate them, can help in a counter war (copying drain or force), ripples easily to build storm count, and can copy Tendrils or Wishes cheaper than replication would, it also lets you stack regrowths so you can regrowth your regrowth. Overall it's a really flexible card.
The cards listed under broken/combo should be self explanatory as should the wishboard. Tinker is for fast thrumming stone.
Let me know what you think. This is the most streamlined I feel I could make the Storm build but any suggestion at all would be great.

I think the Oath build is as good as it gets as well, but again any suggestions are welcome and any comments as to how viable these decks are are welcome as well.

You can't use Twincast to Regrowth Regrowth - a spell doesn't actually hit the graveyard until the last part of resolving, so it's not there to be targeted.

The first game I was drawing badly and got beatdown pretty hard. Also Chalice @ 1 killed my hand.
Second game Chalice @ 0 and Chalice @ 2 froze me out.
Third Game:
I got Replicoath to work!
It is now turn 1 (Galen)

Deck name should be RegrOath.

Did you look at any of the old Xerox lists for ideas?  They were based on Izzet Guildmage instead of Djinn Illuminatus, but they were capable of some pretty amazing things not entirely dissimilar to your decks here.

This deck has been sitting in the vintage inprovement forum for quite some time and I think I have an optimal build. Like the last deck I posted in here though, I'm afraid I may be completely wrong and this could be unplayable jank. At any rate I need to know because again I feel like I've crafted a good deck and keep winning with it in random MWS test games but I could be deluded.

ReplicOath
//Lands: 14
4 Forbidden Orchard
4 Underground Sea
4 Tropical Island
2 Bayou

//Creatures: 3
3 Djinn Illuminatus

//Spells: 46
1 Lotus Petal
1 Black Lotus
1 Time Walk
2 Altar of Dementia
1 Brainstorm
4 Oath of Druids
2 Pact of the Titan
1 Regrowth
1 Mox Jet
1 Mox Emerald
1 Mox Sapphire
1 Mox Ruby
4 Duress
1 Vampiric Tutor
3 Extract
1 Extirpate
4 FoW
1 Merchant Scroll
1 Demonic Tutor
1 YawgWill
1 Mystical Tutor
1 Ponder
1 Ancestral Recall
3 Serum Visions
3 Opt

//Sideboard: 15
4 Oxidize (for troubling artifacts like CotV)
4 Orim's Chant (for lockdown)
3 Seedtime (for blue instants)
4 Vexing Shusher (against counterspells, Chalice, Nether Void, etc.)

Now to other card choices:
Duress: I chose this over Thoughtseize because it replicates better, for fairly obvious reasons. If you have access to enough black mana this acts as a superior uncounterable Mind Twist.
Extract: This is an underplayed card that also replicates really well allowing you to remove all of your opponents bombs from their library in one fell swoop. It is cheap and it also works well enough to kill singleton bombs without a Djinn.
Merchant Scroll: Helps sculpt your hand and when replicated it's pretty busted.
Mystical Tutor: Helps fetch Pact of the Titan
Brainstorm: Doesn't Replicate well at all but it's still a great enough card to be included as a 1 of.
Altar of Dementia: Originally was going to be Mass Hysteria or Concordant Crossroads. I chose Altar because decking your opponent with Giant tokens is just my preferred method of play.
Pact of the Titan: Easily searched out and can be replicated infinitely for the combo win.
Ponder/Serum Visions/Opt all of these are busted with Djinn out and without Djinn they all help me dig through my deck for Oath or the other combo pieces.
Regrowth: Regrowth is also busted under Djinn letting you get a card like Time Walk or Lotus back and if replicated you can put pretty much your entire graveyard into your hand.
The rest of the card selections should be pretty obvious.

In random MWS testing this deck tends to win alot and usually between turns 3 and 6. Any feedback would be great.

It seems very slow, and lacking power, Your need to find 4 pieces and play them un-countered and you are only running 4 force of will, aside from that your win is Beat down with a 3/5, cast 1 Pact of the titan and pay 5 on your turn, and beat with a 4/4?
I also dont understand why you are running only 3 Oath of Druids as baring hard casting your Djinn Oath is its only way into play,

Fastbond seems week, and only good turn 1 or 2, explain?

if your set on running fastbond, why not run a singleton gush as well?

and well to quote you

I could be completely off on this without testing but I am having
Trouble understanding why Fastbond is in this?? Also only 3 Oath??

Serum visions and opt seem wrong on the surface but like I said without testing all this could be wrong.

@Wise
I believe you replicate the pact for heaps as the tokens have haste??

I know at least that, aside from Deglamer, the sideboard is pretty awful. Deglamer is mainly for Chalices because Chalice at 0,1, and 2 really hurt this deck.

How is Deglamer helping against a chalice for 2? If anything what you are doing is returning their chalice of 0 and 1 in their deck so they can play it again lategame at 2. What's wrong with oxidize / naturalize?

How much do you combo with altar and pact? Why is this better than simply oathing and beating with angels or bouncing your opponents board with Tidespout Tyrant. You have 4 dead cards in this deck if you're not able to oath a creature.

You know why you are winning on MWS? Not because it's good but because it's a rogue deck and nobody is used to play against it. I mean, you don't even play any basic land...

No, you don't kill with the giant tokens. You sac them to Altar of Dementia after replicating them infinitely with Djinn. You should have read the whole post. Also I just cut fastbond for another Oath. Any other help would be great.
