I'm not sure if anyone has thought of this combo before me but I'm really excited. I just recently discovered that Djinn Illuminatus+ Manamorphose = Drawing you entire deck. I chose to make this a Vintage deck because of Mana Drain, Moxen and all the stuff to accelerate a Djinn sits right in this format. Here's a rough draft that I hope to develop.

Mana:
5 Moxen
1 Black Lotus
1 Mana Crypt
1 Chrome Mox
1 Lotus Petal
1 Mana Vault
1 Tolarian Academy
2 Flooded Strand
2 Wooded Foothills
4 Volcanic Island
3 Island
3 Mountain
2 Ancient Tomb
2 City of Brass
4 Seething Song
4 Simian Spirit Guide
4 Manamorphose
(41)

Regular Spells:
4 Djinn Illuminatus
4 Mana Drain
4 Force of Will
1 Brainstorm
1 Ancestral Recall
1 Mystical Tutor
1 Pact of the Titans
1 Fastbond
1 Kaervek's Torch
1 Altar of Dementia
(19)

This list was inspired by Lurker101. I even posted the combo in his Legacy thread. The Manamorphose+Djinn combo was concieved by me though (as far as I know).

The Main goal of the deck, is to cast an early Djinn followed by Manamorphose to draw your entire deck. You then win by either Pact of the Titans/Altar of Dementia or Fastbond/Kaervek's Torch. The latter wins by playing all of your lands and moxen off Fastbond and cast a huge X-spell. I like this deck becuase it allows you to have 4 Force of Will as backup when you decide you want to win uninterrupted.

Well, that's my latest idea. Let me know what you guys think of the combo. Hopefully we can develop this pile into a devastating powerhouse. Thoughts and comments are welcome. Peace.

I have no idea why people come to this conclusions...
Does Djinn+ANY Ritual work for infinite mana?
No.
Does Djinn+Manamoprhose work for Infinite Draw?
No.

So the replicate cost can only be cast once? Can someone give me the exact ruling?

You have the option, while Manamorphose is on the stack, to pay its mana cost X amount of times for X amount of copies.

So you don't get the mana from Manamorphose to pay for the next Manamorphose.

Manamorphose costs 1 {R}/ {G} to play, which means it has a replicate cost of 1 {R}/ {G} granted by the Djinn. Let's say you have 3 {R} {R} {R} available. You cast Manamorphose and have enough mana to replicate it twice. The end result is that you now have 6 mana of any combination of colors in your mana pool and you have drawn three cards. There is no infinite draw combo here. The replicate cost is only paid once, when the original spell is played. You can't pay 2 {R} {R} to play and replicate Manamorphose once, let the replicate copy resolve, then choose to replicate again.

Replicate: Replicate is a keyword that represents two abilities. The first is a static ability that functions while the spell is on the stack. The second is a triggered ability that functions while the spell is on the stack. "Replicate [cost]" means "As an additional cost to play this spell, you may pay [cost] any number of times" and "When you play this spell, if a replicate cost was paid for it, copy it for each time its replicate cost was paid. If the spell has any targets, you may choose new targets for any number of the copies." Paying a spell's replicate cost follows the rules for paying additional costs in rules 409.1b and 409.1f-h. See rule 502.52, "Replicate."
Replicate is an additional cost that does something neat when the spell resolves.  It doesn't do anything until the spell resolves, however.  This is not like the Izzet Guildmage interaction where each copy resolves before the original does.

No. You can replicate as many times as you want / can pay for AT the time you play the spell. What I am saying is it needs to be done all at one time. As one big spell.

Oh.. you guys are fast..

To keep this thread alive, can you replicate Manamorphose three times, cast Regrowth, and replicate Regrowth for an infinite loop?

To keep this thread alive,

Too late.

The deck doesn't work. Thread closed. If you want to build something else involving the Djinn, please start a new thread.
