Hello,
(Stuff edited for safety) the video of Mike Esposito. Just wanted to let you know, he works at a store called Game Nightz that is here in Phoenix, AZ. They sell singles for him. Their website is gamenightz.com This person is not liked here and he is banned from every store except the store that he works out of. This is his myspace page: http://www.myspace.com/z06z06 Any help I cant get from anyone to take this guy down, would be a real help.
Thanks.

Not entirely positive this is the exact person or situation, but it does confirm that he stole a backpack that contained a black lotus, and it must have been recently, since there's no reason to post this anytime past it just happening.

So people in the Phoenix area (and around the Western US apparently), watch your stuff.

There is some evidence on SCG's Thread(2nd post) that contradicts your statement of who is guilty. You have to get both sides of the story before you make/come to your conclusion of what truly took place. Further posting on this subject should be presented without bias towards any party until professionals(The Police) are brought in and all aspects of the story are investigated. Lets not jump into the MTG soap opera. Situations as these are easily fueled by people who were not even present during the actual crime in question. Lets all be a bit careful about pointing the finger to who did what.

The situation is very delicate and I hope that it can be resolved in a timely manner. I wish the "Card Benefactor" all the luck in the world. I would be crushed if someone stole my cards right out from underneath me.

Several tens of thousands of dollars worth of cards were stolen at GP Denver. I don't know the whole story, but the thieves were almost certainly organized.

Both hotel security and the police were brought in, but did nothing since they have no reason to care about something minor like card theft.

The tournament organizer IDed at least some of the thieves, but couldn't do anything since they were not caught in the act.
