First off, I'm new here, so I'd like to say hi to everybody.

I tried to add my own twist to this combo. I don't read a lot of decklists, so I don't know if this has been done before.

10 Island
10 Forest
2 Seedcradle Witch
4 Bloom Tender
4 Spawnwrithe
2 Stonybrook Angler
4 Scuttlemutt
2 Tideshaper Mystic
2 Fallowsage
2 Horde of Notions
2 Prismwake Merrow
2 Scrapbasket
2 Inundate
3 Loxodon Warhammer
4 Umbral Mantle
1 Beacon of Unrest
2 Prismatic Omen
2 Fathom Trawl

Pretty straightforward combo, Bloom Tender plus Umbral Mantle, with at least 3 colors in play, makes for a ridiculously large bloom tender. I needed a way to get through defenses or lose, hence the warhammers. That beat my problem twofold. I like the idea of being able to tap Bloom Tender once for Horde of Notions, and again to bring back a Spawnwrithe. I want to use Vigor or Dread, but... well, they just don't stay dead long enough to bring back!

It doesn't have much competition in my area, its mostly just casual play. I'd like to take this higher though, starting with FNM. I think this deck has a lot of ideas, but I'm almost out of ideas.

Thanks in advance, everybody!

Its a nice combo, but the problem is bloom tender is too easy to kill. early on in the game before you can get your  combo going. Aside from all the mono-red decks out there with burn, you've got unmake, crib-swaps, nameless inversion, etc. that can kill the bloom tender before you can get your combo going. If I were you I'd try making the deck with some blue in it so you can give more protection for the tender in the form of shroud and counter magic, or maybe combine this combo with quillspike combo into one deck so that you have two creatures you can infinitely pump. Very nice deck list to start from though.

I found this put actually... In a painful way vs. faeries. I've updated the list a little, so it looks something like this now.

10 Island
10 Forest
2 Seedcradle Witch
4 Bloom Tender
2 Stonybrook Angler
4 Scuttlemutt
2 Tideshaper Mystic
2 Fallowsage
2 Horde of Notions
2 Scrapbasket
3 Loxodon Warhammer
4 Umbral Mantle
2 Prismatic Omen
2 Fathom Trawl
2 Blaze
3 Cancel
2 Discombobulate
2 Torrent of Souls

Torrent of Souls gives me some fun if I lose somebody exciting, like a Horde. I cut the Spawnwrithes because, despite the awesomeness of the card itself, I don't feel it had a place. I'm not sold on the Torrents yet, but I figure it's worth a try.

The Blaze is obvious: big X for unlimited mana. Counter it? No wasted resources here!

Cancel and Discombobulate take care of my major threats: Runed Halo, Pithing Needle, etc. Discombobulate also helps me dig.

I'm also thinking about Helix Pinnacle, to soak up all my extra mana before each phase change.

Really liking this build a lot better, much more versatile. Maybe replace cancel with consign to dreams? Same casting cost, and it gets you a card (though it makes your opponent draw a card too). Obviously some color fixing lands would be good (yavimaya coast, flooded grove). Maybe add some summoners pacts to get to the tender? I'd also suggest negates for a nice cheep counterspell to protect against removal pointed at the bloom tender. Overall though, I see a lot of potential.

A friend of mine ran a Bloom Tender combo deck, but he didn't run Umbral Mantle; perhaps that was his downfall.  Instead of running the X kill, he ran Scrapbasket and tried to combo out Reaper King and use Scarecrone or Legacy Weapon.

Well, Mana burn doesnt exist.. FYI. unless they already reversed that rules change.  So helix pinnacle obviously not needed.
