Props to Wizards for cleaning up the restricted list. Other than Time Vault and Mox Diamond, I doubt whether we'll see much of the others used. This Time Vault reerrata may move our top combo decks one step closer to the pure Highlander deck.
And kudos to Steve M. for lobbying for this Time Vault re-re-re-back to close to original-errata. One question I have is whether the Flame Fusilade combo will work; i.e., I'm not sure untapping will be an activated ability or whether you have the option to do that at the beginning of your upkeep. For sure, you'll be able to uptap it with Twiddle or Key.

The reason TV is restricted is probably because WotC is afraid of Vault-Fusillade and are reacting from paranoia.
I for one am ecstatic about it, though, because that means that TIME VAULT STASIS WORKS AGAIN IN LEGACY!!!!!
...maybe.
EDIT: Oh, nvm, b&. That sucks. Well, it'll probably be slowly eased off once WotC recognize there are more significant threats. These recent unrestrictions are symptomatic of such.

Once again, and I don't know how many times I have to tell people this: Flame Fusillade will not combo with Time Vault.
Twiddle will.

Just a Question Stephen Is not there much times better card than Twidle that can possibly work with Time Vault? I see this two card combo possible reason to restrict Vault. I donīt believe Flame Fusilade is reason to restrict Vault. But Voltaic Key + Time Vault may be reason when key is unrestricted.

@wox2 - Yes, there are better options to combo with Time Vault, like Voltaic Key. The point Steve is trying to make is that Time Vault will combo with "untap" effects, which are often referred to as "Twiddle" effects, Twiddle being the first card that could "untap" things.

Just a little question at the moment: When I search the current Vintage Banned/Restricted list on the wizards site, I get a list that says it has been updated on December 1 (and shows restricted Brainstorm and Ponder), but it still has a restricted Chrome Mox, Mox Diamond, Time Spiral, etc on it. Still the changes page said there had been no changes to the Vintage list with the December 1 update. Now I am puzzled... Is Time Spiral unrestricted now? And the moxen (Chrome and Diamond)? Personal Tutor? I've seen decklists from tournaments with 4 Chrome's in them, so they had to be unrestricted somewhere along the line, but are they restricted again now? Or am I looking in some terrible wrong place? If anyone knows, please let me know and end my confusion. With Time Spiral unrestricted, I could actually see an Academy deck making a comeback.
