Awesome tournament!  When's the next one?

Also, do you have a metagame breakdown?

Once again, I had a great time.  It was neat to see some big names show up to the tournament too.  Are we planning another one in November or closer to Christmas-time?

Since which Moxen was taken as the prize.  Or were both offered?  Who took what?

Unfortunately, some legitimate discussion on future prize support was lost in the shuffle - the Mox Emerald was the prize chosen by the winner, and the Ruby will offered at a later tournament. A played Sapphire has also been acquired for future prizes, and the TO hopes to add a Jet to the collection.

As for big names, I suppose it's just a matter of opinion, but I was surprised to see both Paul Mastriano and Jerry Yang to make an appearance.  I don't remember any other notable names at the moment.  It was great meeting those two.

Michael Scheffenacker is an old school name Smile   Glad to see he's picking up cards again.

Thanks for remembering me Smile I am coming out of retirement to sling some spells and claim some moxen.

I'll be at all of these Baltimore ones and planning on going to the Philly ones as well.

This was a great tourment. Oath is really good but I think TPS is really better. Oath lacks that ability to just go for the win when it needs too, and thats what happened in the top 8. I would have 1st or 2nd turn oath but lose to the tendrils. Anyways thanks for the great turn out I appeciate all the people that traveled far to come to this.

I think you should try to shift gears against TPS.  You have 16 maindeck disruption spells and more stuff out of the board.  I would always play control first and win second unless you get some ridiculous draw like turn 1 oath, turn 2 timewalk.

This thread was a prime example of why we have a PM function. Complaints to a TO about posting or with-holding decklists (or not, as the case may be), should be made by PM to the TO, not posted on the thread, which just derails it with discussion on the merits or otherwise of the particular case.

If there's any more of it, the thread will be locked and warnings given out.
