I recently read about a charity event in which we average Joes grow mustaches during the month of November (Movember) in support of prostate cancer research.  My father in law was treated for prostate cancer a little over a year ago, so this is research that is personally important to me.  The fact that I get to grow a sweet 'stache is icing on the cake.

If you have the ability to grow a mustache and would like to join my team, I would love to have you.  My team is called The Magical 'Staches. To join my Movember team go to http://us.movember.com/us/register and follow the steps. Once registered you'll be sent all the information you need to get donations and get growing as part of my Movember team.

You will need these details to complete your online registration:

    * Captain's Registration Number: 1486571
    * Captain's Email Address: bchrist99@hotmail.com

Prostate cancer facts:

    *
      Prostate cancer is the most common non-skin cancer in the US with one in six American men developing the disease and more than 28,000 men dying of the disease every year.
    *
      African American men and those with a family history of prostate cancer are twice as likely to develop the disease and should have regular annual testing starting at 45. All other men should commence testing at 50.
    *
      Prostate cancer is 90% curable if detected and treated early.

The money raised by Movember is donated directly to the Prostate Cancer Foundation which will use the funds for high-impact research to find better treatments and a cure for prostate cancer.

We were having this argument last night: does it have to be just mustache or can you have mustache+beard?  If the former, I'll make adjustments.

There is not a single argument in your post. Just statements that have no meaning. - Guli

It's pretty awesome that I did that - Smmenen

I think the idea is mustache sans beard.  Sorry Steve.

Surprisingly I noticed this after I picked my icon!
What a wonderful idea. Especially since my dad had prostate cancer.
