Up to 25 Proxies FREE with entry fee, plus $0.25 for each additional proxy.
Entry fee is $20.00.
Registration starts at noon. Tournament starts at 1:00 PM.
The tournament will consist of X rounds of swiss followed by a cut to top 8.
Prize payout will be as follows:
1st: 40%
2nd: 20%
3rd-4th: 10%
5th-8th: 5%
All entry fees go towards prizes, minus a small cut for the store that is nice enough to have us.
That reminds me, this store is NICE. It is very roomy and tidy, with lots of tables and chairs. This is a HUGE upgrade from Sports Z... I mean, the previous venue.
The store itself has a selection of snacks and drinks for purchase. There are also numerous restaurants within walking distance in addition to the supermarket in the same plaza.
Note that the store closes at 6:00 PM on Sundays, so we might end up playing out the top 8/4/2 at a restaurant or something. I certainly wouldn't worry about it, though.
I will be playing in the tournament, but I don't make anything off the tournament so I'm just another player.

In the future I will try to have them on Saturdays, so this will not be a permanent thing.

Ah. That sucks. I didn't make it back until 2am after the last tournament, there's no way I can do that with work the next day. It's an 8 hour round trip from Charleston, so it's kinda nice to have a day to recover. In the future I will try to have them on Saturdays, so this will not be a permanent thing.

For those on the fence:
I have 10 booster packs of Shards of Alaara.
I will be giving away half of what I have left to each opponent who defeats me.
At the end of the tournament I will give all remaining packs to the last opponent to defeat me who is still there.
If none of those opponent's remain then I will give all remaining packs to the last opponent who played against me.
