This place is ridiculously easy to get to; you just go up (or down) I-43, take exit 92, go left, and drive 3.6 miles. Cedarburg is about 25 minutes north of Milwaukee Circle B is a bowling alley, bar, and grill, which means there will be food and drink available onsite. Drinking will be allowed. Smoking will not. There will also be bowling available for when you 0-2 drop. There is an ATM onsite, but it wasn't working last time, so I'd recommend bringing your cash or calling ahead to check. Registration begins at 11:00 AM and ends at 12:00 PM. Round 1 will begin around 12:15 PM. Click here to download a deck registration form. 25/25/25 rule: Vintage 25-proxy unsanctioned tournament $0.25 for each proxy after 25 $25 CASH entry All proxies must follow these guidelines. 1st Place = Unlimited Mox Sapphire and 1-round bye at this spring's ICBM Double Power 9 2nd Place = Italian Mana Drain 3rd/4th Place = Volcanic Island 5th-8th place = Plateau cost of venue: $100 These prizes are GUARANTEED regardless of attendance. These prizes are based on me breaking even at 22 people. If we get 25 or more people I will increase prize support. If we hit 30 people I will replace 2nd place with a Mox Ruby and we'll have a double Mox. More attendance means more prizes. This is VINTAGE. Be there. Every single Vintage event I have run has had at least 5 Starcity Power 9 Champions in attendance. Most Opens have around half of the 2008 Vintage Worlds top 8 in attendance. If you want to play some real Magic you'd better show up. It doesn't really get much better than this. Looking to sell cards? I'll be buying. Looking to buy cards? I'll be selling. Can we make this a Legacy tournament instead? With the upcoming Legacy GP Chicago it just seems about 500,323 times more relevant to play Legacy the next 2 months than Vintage. You might actually get more people too.

Can we make this a Legacy tournament instead? With the upcoming Legacy GP Chicago it just seems about 500,323 times more relevant to play Legacy the next 2 months than Vintage. You might actually get more people too.
I think this is a bad idea. I for one, would not come if this is legacy. It is true that legacy matters, but I don't care nearly as much about playtesting that format as competing in vintage. |

Oh stop your complaining. The venue is like 2 minutes from your house, of course you would show up. I am interested in either format. Vintage is always fun, but Legacy is actually relevant and I would have no complaints about playing that instead as I will take all the GP practice I can get. If you think attendance will be as good or better for Legacy, that gets my vote. |

Which is why the event should be vintage, that way someone can beat soly and he'll go and complain about how his deck failed him.
I will totally be making the trip for this event, Ben's tournaments are usually kick ass and always have a high level of competition.

I'll be there whether or not I feel like playing as these events are 100% worth supporting. At least it's at a Bar/Bowling Alley so there's TV's for when you scrub out (or get to draw in like me).
Also, fuck prereleases. I'm not driving to Madison for that.
