Hello, I started playing magic in 97, I played, stopped played stopped etc. then in 2005 I started again with magic, mainly focussing on extended and vintage. Anyways, I stopped playing around the summer of 2007, and now I am back 18 months later with a lack of new card knowledge. Where can I find a list with all the cards in the newest expansions? the wizards site is dire for this, because spoiler or sortable spoiler is annoying, I want to see the whole card like on this link: http://www.wizards.com/magic/tcg/Article.aspx?x=mtg/tcg/shardsofalara/spoilerAny idea where I can find this? thanks a lot.

Yes,Tarmogoyf is probably better than Chameleon Colossus, but comparing it to Tarmogoyf is like comparing your girlfriend to Carmen Electra - one's versatile and reliable, the other's just big and cheap.(And you'd run both if you could get away with)

Ok thanks thats pretty nice, but is there a way to get all the cards on one page rather than clicking on the names hundreds of times?

also, can anyone explain "Tribal" ?

You are correct that it's usually one big set (in Sept/Oct) followed by two small sets (one in Jan/Feb and another in April/May). However, there have always been a total of four sets a year. Every other year there is a Core Set ("Xth Edition") plus the normal three. For the years that there isn't a Core Set, they've been doing different things. In 2006 it was Coldsnap, and in 2004 it was Unhinged. In 2008, they decided to make two "mini-blocks" of two sets each to meet the four-sets-a-year quota. Lorwyn and Shadowmoor are still considered one block for pretty much every purpose though, including rotations and whatnot, they just had different themes. This year will be a pretty standard year, with the big set as Shards of Alara, followed by the small set Conflux, then the small set Alara Reborn, and in the summer 11th Edition. Then in Fall the next big set comes out, which I don't think they've announced a name on yet. As far as Tribal goes, it's pretty stupid. They just wanted to give non-creature spells creature types, so that for example you could get Tarfire with Goblin Matron. I guess the only way that they could do that was to create a whole new card type, Tribal.

Ok the 4 set a year sounds fair. Does that mean type2 includes both lorwyn and shadowmoor and shards? and when the next big expansion comes out, both lorwyn and shadowmoor will phase out of Type 2?

Yes, you are correct, Lorwyn will be rotating this coming fall, along with shadowmoor.

Another quick question ; in some articles I get linked to decks, which allow you to goldfish it, how can I upload card names to build my own deck so I can goldfish it? Its so much easier than finding all the cards and putting them in a deck, plus I travel a lot so online deck building is even better then. I know on deckcheck.org you can make decks, but it doesnt have the cool feature that this has http://www.wizards.com/magic/samplehand.asp?x=mtg/daily/feature/21&decknum=12thanks
