I really like the card High Tide and love the old legacy Solidarity and Spring Tide decks, so for fun I decided to throw together a Spring Tide deck for Vintage. Does anyone think that this list would be viable?
//Lands: 20
12 Island
4 Tropical Island
4 Polluted Delta

//Creatures: 2
2 Tidespout Tyrant

//Other spells:38
4 Mana Drain
2 Early Harvest
1 Misdirection
2 Time Spiral
4 Ideas Unbound
1 Brain Freeze
2 Careful Study
4 High Tide
1 Fastbond
1 Gush
2 Heartbeat of Spring
1 Ancestral Recall
1 Brainstorm
4 Meditate
4 Turnabout
1 Frantic Search
1 Mystical Tutor
1 Timetwister
1 Merchant Scroll

Sideboard:
1 Stifle
4 Extract
2 Ecohoing Truth
2 Rebuild
1 Braingeyser
1 Brain Freeze
2 Commandeer
2 Remand

So most people know the basics of a high tide deck. I added in Drains to up the mana count and Tidespout Tyrant to combo with fastbond and draw spells as well as beatdown if necessary. This deck doesn't run Force and it should but I don't know what to cut.
Most of the sideboard choices should be obvious other than remand which is just there because it's a cheap counterspell that cantrips. I made this deck off the top of my head so I know it's not perfect yet and I'm unsure if the strategy is even viable. I just thought it would be a fun deck to play and maybe could be improved into something that is viable.

With as many Drains going around as there are now, I don't really think HT would be the way to go.

I agree that the strategy is not viable, I would really only take it to a tournament for fun, but hypothetically is this a good vintage High Tide build? Could it be improved?
