If this is anything like the Neutral Ground v. Your Move Games "Grudge Match" from a few years ago, I think it would be a great idea.
I'd love to see a tournament where the best of New England faced the best of the Mid Atlantic. Both stores had qualifying events over the course of the year, with one large event for everyone who qualified at the end of the year. Would it be like that, or an open for anyone who wanted to play?
This would be great for team rivalries as well.
Not to mention for those of us who own more than one Boston Sucks shirt, enough Yankee jerseys to go two weeks without wearing the same one, and have curtains made from '99 Championship banners. God, I hate the Red Sox...

The idea seems promising, to the extent any information's been given about it. That said, if you're looking for community feedback, posting in Community is probably a better idea. If you're releasing further details at some future point, I'd ask that you do that sooner rather than later so we don't have what amounts to a blank slate posted here.

This seems like a good idea to me. 'Cause: It depends what you mean by type 1. At your Blue Bell tournies, expect to go 0-2 drop with this card. At lets say....Myriad Games mana cookies tournament, you can defentily win a tourney with it. Theyre both Type 1, but different tiers. Them sounds like fightin' words to me.

Neither of you have anything on the Midwest. Oh, I went there! The problem with the Midwest is it's so far west!! We understand that you're just now getting Homelands cards on the shelves out there, so you're forgiven for your deck choices!! You take care of business out there (perhaps you can beat-up on Canada), and after the MA/NE showdown, perhaps we'll see you in 2011

Ask Andy Probasco and Rich Shay how vintage Champs did for them. They're the best players you have out there, and they both failed to make top 8. 5 wisconsin players did. Oh, and I believe that we invaded Enfield the first time, and Jimmy McCarthy, Nam Tran, and myself all walked out with some prize. Winners = Midwesty.

You're joking, right? Whenever the Midwest shows up in force (even remotely approaching the attendance of those other regions) they dominate. Midwest = Domination.

Round 7 Results Grand Prix: Philadelphia 2008
154 Shay, Richard J Lost 1-2 vs. Turtenwald, Owen
If that doesn't settle it I don't know what will.

Play magic out here, and then you know which side to pick. Note: It may or may not be New England

I was going to say, my name should imply my allegiance is to no man. I was going to take my location here, my location at home, average the values and see where it put me.

OK, all the shit talk aside, it seems that my idea has some passionate interest. So, to take things to the next step, I would like any interested TO's in their respected regions to contact me. I would then like to arrange a live chat time to brainstorm. I can be reached at ccgames@comcast.netI think we can come up with a fun and competitive format.

Does anyone ever actually read the community thread? Ive never read it before Given that it has 15% of the posts, which makes it the second-largest, behind only Vintage Open at 20%, I would dare say that it is a safe assumption that people read the Community Forums.
