Holy Ritual

Seeing the shift in color of several classic cards in the Planar Chaos, got me thinking about how far it could be taken, Giant Growth became red, Healing Salve became Green. Could there be a way to work with a shifted version of Lighting Bolt or Dark Ritual, I have a feeling that Brainstorm is as close as anyone could come to replicating Ancestral Recall. So this is the variant I came up will for a Ritual effect.
I added the effect from path to exile allowing for a land search to offset using multiples.

Add  to your mana pool, each opponent may search their library for a basic land and put it into play tapped.

I feel like giving your opponent a land will stop players from hard casting one ritual off another. It would give white some power that the current field is lacking.

Im sure that it borders on busted but I thought I would share it and get some feedback.

well the CITP tapped means they could go off with some sick storm combo, but luckily not to many decks would splash white for this card I think.

I like the idea, though I cant think what kind of decks would use it. how about something with more synergy with this card?

for example:

Name a basic land type, target opponent may search his library for a basic land card. Add  to your mana pool. If you guessed the land opponent put into play, add  instead;

The wording is beyond horrible; but you see what I mean.

I'm pretty sure this is horribly out of flavor for White.  White is not about sacrificing to get long-term advantage.  It's more about planning and long-term growth.

This would be the absolute balls with Land Tax.

1st turn Plains, Holy Ritual, Scroll Rack, Land Tax, GG's.

That is the first thing that popped in my head as well. As a long term Parfait player, I would love that card. However, it is very out of flavor for White, which has been noted.
