So I went to Bazaar of Moxen 3 to play some legacy and vintage (here is the vintage report).

4 Merrow Reejerey
3 Silvergill Adept
2 Sygg, River Cutthroat
1 Brainstorm

4 Force of Will
1 Hurkyl's Recall
1 Misdirection
4 Null Rod
3 Standstill
3 Stifle
3 Flooded Strand
9 Island
1 Mutavault
3 Polluted Delta
1 Strip Mine
4 Wasteland
3 Curfew
1 Echoing Truth
2 Energy Flux
1 Hurkyl's Recall
2 Relic of Progenitus
2 Spell Snare
3 Tormod's Crypt
1 Waterfront Bouncer
Round 1 vs STAX MONO BROWN - Harald David (a very nice man from southern germany)
He goes first and played mox, mox, city of traitors, smokestack. "Doh!..." I had Null Rod in hand but no way to get it out. I had alot of lands so I played some fetches that got sacced to smokestack. When he chose to sac smokestack I finally get out Null Rod and somehow (sorry don't remember won the game). Game two he managed to get a very powerfull board with Sphere of Resistance x 2, Chalice at one, Chalice at two and a Razormane Masticore, pretty much game but no. He had wasteland but luckily I was running alot of basic islands. I had 5 islands and played a Energy Flux. After his turn he was left with (I think Mox, Razormane Masticore, City of Traitors, Mishra's Factory). I took some damage before I played a second Energy Flux the following turn. Win, Win.
Round 2 vs VAULT/KEY UBR CONTROL - some german guy I think, or french...
First game I had a very good start with island then stifles his fetch. Lord of Atlantis. Merrow Reejerey. Merrow Reejerey. All with force of will to back it up. During our second game he had control but I had hurkyl's recall that could stall some. Then something annoying happened. He said "go" and I was about to do my draw. Then he said "stop" and drew a card. He had allready had his draw phase that turn so I called a judge. The judge called another judge who called the head judge. My opponent told the judges that he had allready seen what the card was with a sensei's divining top but I am sure he did not know it. (now writing this report I could ask him to tell the judge what card no#2 in his library was to get proof he knew but did not do it when the situation was accurring). It ended with him getting a warning (in my opinion it should have been a game loss). But it didn't really matter as we went to time. Win, Draw.
Round 3 vs BUG CONTROL FISH - Erik Hegeman (again a nice german)
I lost game 1 against alot of counterspells and tarmogoyfs. I sided out 4xNull Rod for 3xCurfew and 1x Waterfront Bouncer. With stifle against his fetches and force of will to back up my Lord of Atlantis (islandwalk for the win). I was lucky to win game two and three. Loss, Win, Win
Round 4, 6, 7
So after three rounds I am 3-0. But I have not eaten and only drinked some fanta. I am very tired (played legacy all yesterday and did not sleep well in the hotell downtown). I loose fast against DRAIN TRENDRILS, TPS and TEZZERET. There are three things in commons in all those matches that I will to do in my next tournament. I WILL NEED TO MULLIGAN INTO NULL ROD. I did not draw the hate that I needed for winning those matches and I did alot sub-optimal plays. If played correctly those are all good matchups for me so I was kinda annoyed I did play so poor.
Round 5 - UW FISH, a nice player, check with curly hair, don't remember his name sorry.
Game one was Lord of Atlantis all the way and it seemed like he had alot of bad draws. In game two (there may be some error on my retelling as I don't remember 100% the table) he was at 4 life and had Canonist, Canonist, Mishra's Factory and Jitte equipped to a Canonist in play. I had it all figured out. I had a Merrow Reejerey in play and 3 islands. I just needed to play Cursecatcher and Lord of Atlantis. I tap and play Cursecatcher first, the tries to play Lord of Atlantis. I am so tired I did not even think about the Canonist ability. Im stuck with the lord in my hand. At the moment he had the winning board position and full control but he fetches and is down to three and imidiately sees that he cost him the game so he concedes. Win, Win.
Round 8 - BUG FISH
I lost both games due to a double (the first game) and triple (the last game) Tarmogoyf. With him having Dark Confidant out for card advantage and got better draws than me. I don't think there was anything I could have done different in this match. Loss, Loss
So I am 4-4 and have been at the location for over 12 hours so I drop before the last round to go get some pizza. I think the tournament (my first big tournament) was good practice for me and I learned some stuff that will help me improve as a magic player. I will continue this deck when playing in big tournaments because I felt it was good enough to compete.
Travelling for 14 hours followed by alot of traffic noise at the hotell and magic for 24 hours (saturday and sunday) is very hard, my biggest experience. Props to the tournament organizer and all the judges, the tournament went really smooth. Also nice with alot of vendors with alot of cards. Thanks
