I've been thinking about how powerfull peoples casual decks really are, mostly as a measure for my own decks.
For casual i usually play decks that i like, and if they turn out too powerfull they are either scrapped or nerfed....
Anyways here are my seven current casual decks
Mana: (24)
20 Island
4 Cephalid colisseum
Acceleration: (4)
4 Sapphire medallion
Disruption: (13)
4 Remand
3 Vedalken shackles
2 Memory lapse
2 Counterspell
2 Echoing truth
Draw/Search: (11)
4 Impulse
4 Think twice
3 Deep analysis
Combo: (8)
4 Illusions of grandeur
4 Donate
Well kinda a classic....I usually switch about 4-5 cards every time i play it...this weekend i played with forbids but due to a few complaints i cut 'em for two counterspells. It's not really ideal for multiplayer, but aslong as everyone dosn't go with "Bash the blue guy" it should be fine.
Mana: (24)
2 Tropical island
4 Yavimaya coast
4 Simic growth chamber
14 Island
Mana acceleration: (7)
4 Sakura-tribe elder
3 Summer bloom
Draw/Search: (9)
4 Impulse
3 Opportunity
2 Time spiral
Disruption: (12)
4 Counterspell
4 Moment's peace
2 Wall of blossoms
2 Seal of primordium
Combo thingy's: (8)
4 Last stand
4 Prismatic omen
Originally i played with 4 time spiral's but turns out that they're quite good (Surprise) so i cut a few and added some opportunity's.
Mana: (29)
18 Island
3 Blasted landscape
4 Faerie conclave
4 Grim monolith
Creatures: (8)
4 Morphling
4 Masticore
Disruption: (11)
4 Miscalculation
4 Rewind
3 Power sink
Board-Control: (8)
4 Treachery
4 Powder keg
Draw/Search: (4)
4 Stroke of genius
Yeah, another blue deck...Well what can i say? i like blue

I like the urza's era block and standard decks alot and i wanted to play with my morphlings again.
Mana: (24)
8 Swamp
4 Bayou
4 Bloodstained mire
4 Cabal coffers
4 Urborg, tomb of yawgmoth
Creatures: (18)
4 Birds of paradise
4 Fyndhorn elves
4 Dark confidant
4 Korlash, heir to blackblade
2 Masticore
Other: (18)
4 Phyrexian arena
4 Pernicious dead
4 Chainer's edict
4 Consume spirit
1 Drain life
1 Mind twist
Urborg/Cabal coffers is quite powerfull, and noone really plays with land destruction so there's little risk in playing the "combo".
Mana: (22)
18 Mountain
4 Ancient tomb
Creatures: (25)
4 Blood knight
4 Slith firewalker
4 Sulfur elemental
4 Avarrax
3 Gathan raiders
3 Arc-slogger
1 Akroma, angel of fury
1 Torchling
1 Dominus of fealty
Other: (13)
4 Grafted wargear
4 Lightning bolt
4 Seal of fire
1 Radiate
I needed a deck to speed multiplayer games up with, and although i'd love to do a full-scale chaos deck, it's just too risky since there's a good chance people will just blow you away to save themselves. Radiate is untested, but i figured that radiating a stroke or something could be quite fun and speed everything up considerably.
Mana: (20)
4 Plateau
1 Mountain
15 Plains
Combo pieces: (16)
4 Land tax
4 Tithe
3 Gift of estates
4 Planar birth
1 Enlightened tutor
Removal: (15)
4 Path to exile
4 Cataclysm
3 Firestorm
2 Wrath of god
2 Abolish
Other: (9)
4 Sensei's top
3 Sacred mesa
2 Zuran orb
Relatively untested, if cataclysm turns out to be too annoying for everyone (very likely) i'll cut them for some condemns or something. I've only played two games with the deck so far and i think it could need an additional zuran orb and abolish.
Mana: (24)
4 Polluted delta
4 Godless shrine
4 Caves of koilos
1 Phyrexian tower
2 Volrath's stronghold
6 Swamp
3 Ancient tomb
Creatures: (8)
4 Academy rector
4 Draco
Enchantments: (7)
2 Infernal genesis
2 Seal of cleansing (Could be aura of silence, but i can't find mine

)
1 The abyss
1 Engineered plague
1 Contamination
Random stuff: (21)
4 Night's whisper
4 Cabal therapy
4 Innocent blood
4 Sensei's top
2 Damnation
2 Hymn to tourach
1 Balance
I always liked infernal genesis, so this is my attempt at using it...flipping a draco gives 16 power, which is alot...And with volrath's stronghold i should be able to do it every turn...I think it could be quite fun in multiplayer since it's feeding everyone alot of tokens to hit each other with. I've considered ghostly prisons to prevent my opponents from hitting ME with their tokens.
I'm looking forward to seeing what everyone else got in their bag of casual decks
