I was opening up my m10 box, and thumbing through my newly aquired cards when I found hive mind. I'd seen it before at a limited prerelease, and was about to throw it into my jank rare pile when i realized how great of a multiplayer card it could be. Later that day, I was at the card store playing with someone, and saw them play summoner's pact. (u know, the one that makes you pay mana at the start of the next turn's upkeep or you lose.) Then I remembered hive mind from earlier. Hehe. I then through together some of the pact cards i have and mana ramp, and now i have a cool new deck. All I do is ramp and tutor to find the hivemind/ pact cards. Then after playing hivemind, I play 2 of my pact cards (usually of different colors). Everyone copies the spells. Everyone loses the game at the start of there upkeep, and by the time it gets to me, everyone has lost the game, thus making me the surviving player. Very Happy

ROFL this is in my opinion one of the funniest ways to win ever. i doubt many casual opponents would enjoy loosing that way, but the thing does cost 6 mana so I would hope not too many complaints.

I came up with an idea for a list.

4 Hive Mind
4 Summoner's Pact
4 Pact of Negation
4 Simian Spirit Guide
4 Pyroblast
4 Lotus Petal
4 Enlightened Tutor
4 Dark Ritual
4 Darkwater Egg
1 Regrowth
1 Sol Ring
1 Mana Vault
1 Lim-Dult's Vault
4 Chrome Mox
4 Reflecting Pool
4 City of Brass
4 Gemstone Mine
5 vivid cycle

Lots of fast mana, tutors for the Hive Mind, 8 Pacts, should be able to ramp out the combo before anyone can past the upkeep cost of a Summoner's
Pact, can also play a Chrome Mox a Pact of Negation it to get an 9 or die upkeep.

I suggest adding some more Pacts from different colors in favor of running 8 out of 2 colors.
The red Pact seems quite strong for both it's ability and it's upkeep in casual.
Also the Slaughter Pact's ability is awesome of course, though it's upkeep is not that expensive.

Adding stuff like Transmute would enable you to find exactly the Pact you're looking for.
Tolaria West is awesome for this, as it is still in your main color.
