As I couldn't find a post about this I decided to post the info myself, the original website can be found here I know several Dutch / Belgium / France vintage players are going to be here along with possible Shockwave. This event seems to be packed to the neck with all sorts of awesome stuff. This was the biggest vintage event last year and I think they are going to be the biggest event this year again.

I'm going to be here so any TMD members wanna hit me up for a chat be sure to come find me.

For Saturday and Sunday size limit for player are 350 so pre-register are suggest. If we have more than 350 pre-register we create a attempting list in order of pre-registration but we make the possible for let to play everyone.

This looks like it's gonna be a blast, I hope they crash the 300 player limit for Vintage again....
As I'll be playing in all events and will be taking some EDH piles with me I'll be open to all for some random casual games etc. Be sure to find me (PM me for details) if you want to play. Also as an added bonus I'll see if I can track down the deck lists from all top 8's to post them online (can't promise anything) and will be bringing my video camera and taking pics of this awesome weekend.

I know that 2 Drain-Confidant-Tezz lists where First and Seccond and that Dredge took 4th and one between 5 and 8.

I myself went 3-3 Drop but won a small site event with SCV winning a Foil Cunning Wish (Italian).

Found myself a German Force of Will (Willenkraft) and a German Vampiric Tutor (Blutaussaugende Lehrermeister)

I would like to thank all the nice players their we where able to meet and talk to. I had a blast in playing with all you guys.

For my Tog list for Legacy that preformed better than every one would expect. But need some work because it was very could in not dying but needed to much time to win, so it needs some I win now tweaks.

The place where the tournament was held was great and they had water and food all day long for very nice prizes.

Slops to:
The Metro not open at 02.00 afther midnight, so we had to walk for 1,5 hours to the Hotel through Milan.
For me making mistakes during the first rounds and for my deck not working as expected.

Indeed that was one long walk through Milan... lucky for us the Rain didn't come through.... I went a 2-3 drop myself because I wanted to trade and hang out.

Agreed, PDL is insane !! All the other guys were totally great... I was amazed at all the top players having fully beta decks (Power + duals) and the Pimp tournament (all decks fully beta and asian foil) was very impressive, I now know where all the power went for sure . The skill of all my opponents was very impressive and the level of competition was very high, watching the top 8 and seeing all the players play was very inspiring.

The place where the tournament was held was great and they had water and food all day long for very nice prizes.

The venue was awesome, the food was good... nothing can be said about that !!

Good to hear you guys had such a great time. I feel really bad for not going although there was no way for me to attend. Maybe we should roadtrip to Annecy again in the near future ;P
I'm even more curious about the decklists and the meta...

If we do another road trip you don't get to drive if we go with my car (remembers the car wrecking from last year   ) Don't feel bad, we'll do another road trip soon!!

The event was great I think the meta was something like this in order of most seen when I walked through the event:

Control: Euro control, Keeper and Tezz

But thinking back to the fun times we had in Annecy I can imagine how crazy the Milan trip must have been
Too bad you guys sucked and didnt make it to the top of the field either days (although winning a sideevent is also a nice accomplishment)

You know I'm just teasing you Annecy was indeed a very good time and it's indeed a shame we didn't perform better but the skill level of my opponents was also very high (not that it's an excuse). I'm looking forward to crashing at your place and Dutch Vintage + Legacy Nationals though Should also be a blast!!
