+1 on the dates. Why not a weekend later? But still I will try my best to get there. I am in Germany now and it is beautiful country and people both speak german, english and in the northern part (Flensburg area) they even understand a little Norwegian! Makes it alot easyer for me! Hope to make it

We think, that it will be the best date for the most of us.
1 or 2 weeks later, there will be examination on university for many players and the xmas holidays are over.
Normally, everyone have time on the chosen date.
So you can try to come on the 2. January....maybe

I will try to make it to this one.
I have a question about the byes; is it for 1850+ Eternal rating or Total? If it's eternal than that seems really steep as there is exactly 1 player in Holland that has 1850+ and unfortunately not me.

A few questions.
1. How do i get to this from Frankfurt? 2. Where can i stay? I'll be there from 30 dec to 4th january if it turns out well. So looking for some not-so-expensive place.

Hi, @Mantis: Its for an 1850+ eternal rating. but you can get a maximum of 2 byes on fridays side events (vintage, legacy, drafts) @Shpongle: Hanau is close to Frankfurt. i´m still making a homepage at the moment, where you can find a map and more informationg about this. i will add the www-adress as far as i can - there are some cheap hotels in near of the site. look at www.hotel.com@zeus-online: from flensburg (german/dänemark) to hanau - 650 km And to all: If you know, that you will play, please use the reservation. so you have a firm place at the tournaments. you also get an discount if you use this. regards germanmagic

Nether Void is absolutely terrible. I can't envision any game I've played with The Deck where I would have wanted everything to be mana leaked.

I like the weekend, there's always the opportunity for us to be in Koenigstein (Taunus) for New Year, and this would be awesome. Do you need judge staff for the Legacy?

At least a handfull of players will be coming from here Finland. I for myself find the dates great, because it is difficult to me skip any days at work, but I have long semesters like every teacher does.

Frankfurt, Hahn(HHN) has nothing to do with Frankfurt, it is just a commercial way to advertise for the airport Hahn, which is in fact one and a half hour away from real Frankfurt. Most of the time flights to this airport are somewhat cheaper, as Ryanair is the main airline at the airport. But on the other side: You waste time travelling to real Frankfurt and for sure this (bus-)ride to Frankfurt is not for free.
So my advice would be: Go to real Frankfurt (FRA). From the airport, I would say, it takes you 40 minute overall to go to Hanau. From Frankfurt city it is more less 25, 30 minutes with publick trains and 15 minutes with car.
