Cockatrice - intended as successor to MWS

1. I am getting an error message when I try to connect to Cockatrice right now:

I am using the host "play.cockatrice.de," port 4747, my player name and password. It is saying that there is a "protocol version mismatch. Local version: 10, remote version 11." What does this mean? What's wrong?

2. When will Mirrodin Besieged be available for Cockatrice and how will I go about getting it.

You need to download the current version, and apart from that, it also means that there'll be a more readable error message in the next release.

MBS has been in Cockatrice since January 28th
You just need to re-run the Oracle tool.

Mbruker, first of all great job! I was looking for a way to use MWS on Mac, and now I'm fully sold on MWS.

There's only one thing I'd like to see implemented - ability to sort out cards in my hand the way I want. Currently, if I hold a card and move it anywhere, it'll always go to the right side of the hand. I'd like to stack cards in my hand, on mana cost / lands-nonlands, combo pieces-not combo pieces. Etc. I've heard this from other players I've been porting from MWS to Cockatrice, and it would certainly be of great help!

I finally downloaded Cockatrice and the card base (worked flawlessly), figured out how to make a deck and sideboard, save it, and even try to get a game happening. (worked completly by 2nd try).

My only gripe (other than I don't know this as well as MWS, but I appreciate that many commands are paralleled)...

There is no sound whatsoever.

No click, no "shhhhh" for a shuffle.  It kinda bugs me. Mostly because I'm used to MWS.

Is there a way to make some sounds happen?

Also of note: The one game I've been on didn't crash, even though I have a very slow internet connection (barely above dial up).

So far cockatrice is annoying beyond reprieve because there is no sound whatsoever.

A click to let you know that you clicked a button, a whoosh to let you know your deck really shuffled.

I NEED a click and a whoosh.  And perhaps some goodies like an ok? button to click on, instead of readjusting my eyes to the dark to find some F? function key that I know nothing about.

While I totally appreciate your efforts in this endeavor, I still need something "better" to get me away from MWS and it's perks.  Like sound, onscreen macros for ok? End my turn. Etc, being able to make tokens, playing cards facedown,etc.

I'll keep giving it a try, but the sound thing really bugs me...

Card face down = Hold shift then select the card and drag it to the battle field.
Making Tokens = CTRL+T, the if you want more then one you can select the token and CTRL+H will duplicate it.

You can use Macro's, but the only problem is that you can see them on screen.
To use macro's you need to go to the settings screen and to use them you need to use CTRL+ the numbers 1-0.

I just got Cockatrice and I'm a little bit stuck.

How do you actually play a game? Do you need to have someone added as a buddy or can you just start a random game?
