Last night we had out regular $5 vintage tournament but a bit more exciting, as of last week it was determined that the prize would be for an English Mana Drain and that the any number of proxies would be allowed.  We had 26 people show up, making the tournament 4 rounds with a cut to top 8.
Deck that showed:
3 GAT Decks
9 Vault decks
    2 UW Vault
    3 STV
    3 Dark Vault
    2 UBrg Vault
4 Staxx decks
1 BUG Fish
1 Ichorid
1 Zoo
1 RGw Beats
1 TPS
1 Oath
2 Rouge Decks
1 Slaver
1 Goblins

When we got to top 8 it played out as follows

Scott H (TPS)

      vs                            Scott

Jason (UW Tezz)
vs (Scott scooped to Caleb for prize split)
Caleb ( Ichorid)

     vs                             Caleb

Tyler (Dark Tezz)
                                        vs                                                                                WINNER
Alex S. (UBrg Tezz)                                                                         ALEX S. PLAYING UBrg TEZZ

      vs                           Alex

Tommy (Tezz)
vs(Tiffany scooped to Alex for prize split)
John A. (BUG Fish)

      vs                           Tiffany

Tiffany G. (RGw Beats)

Seeing as how I had decided to take deck lists so late I do not have all of them, I will however before the week is out and will post them.

2 Rouge Decks

So I guess these "rogue" decks were mono red?  Or did they just apply make-up to the backs of their cards sleeves? ;-D

I was there eariler that day.  I wish I didn't have so many errands to run, otherwise I could have participated.  Grats on getting such a fine turnout!

Peace,

I played a counter balance deck with the tez/ inkwell win conditions, trinket mage won me all of my games tho.

And i played a R/B goblin deck that had the 5/3 jesters cap guy in it but i wouldn't call that rogues.

I'd like to see more of these $5-$10 tournments.  I think they're just what the format needs to help get it on its feet

Bill Copes bought me a beer after using the power of his mind to remove all the Bazaars and Serum Powders from my deck in two consecutive games.
