It would be good if everyone who goes to a pre-release could report- as best as possible- what old cards were cracked and how many.  This way we can have some statistical data on how many per x number of packs there are and/or if there are more copies of a certain card in play over another.

Exactly my thinking

It will also be interesting to see if certain cardds will be released in greater quantity than others...

I read earlier on MTGSalvation that people get about 1 per box, so make of that what you will.   Rolling Eyes

I think we'll find that it's stuff on the Reserved List, so there should be cards from all of Urza's Block, not just Saga.

Supposedly a Mana Crypt was opened, and that's not on the list.  Same with Mana Vault.

Already listed, but someone at my store's pre-re got a Tundra. It was the only treasure there (of which we were made aware) out of what I would estimate to be about 350-400 packs opened.

Phyrexian Dreadnought, Time Vault, Cradle, etc. have all been confirmed in different PR's. All the P9 has been confirmed with the exception of Timetwister.

At a huge prerelease tournament in LA, the only treasure anyone opened was a scrubland. If there was anything else, no one brought attention to it. At least we pulled two fetches and a Lotus Cobra in 2-headed giant.

Someone at my store got a Revised Volcanic Island and I heard someone at another store nearby got a Phyrexian Dreadnought.

I'm hoping Imperial Seal/Grim Tutor are in these...

This is also the number that LSV suggested in an episode of channelfireball a few weeks ago.  Maybe he knew something we didn't, or wizards liked the idea...

Considering this set was in print and being packaged a few months ago, I think LSV had inside sources.

beta savannah  and revised volcanic opened at the pre release I went to. The savannah was opened in a pack from draft winnings. What a nice bonus on top of winning zendikar packs before you can buy them. The volcanic island was opened during the main sealed event which had 94 players. I think that was the only one during that event.

Nether Void is absolutely terrible. I can't envision any game I've played with The Deck where I would have wanted everything to be mana leaked.

Phyrexian Dreadnough and Gaea's Cradle were opened at the prerelease at Superstars in San Jose, CA.

There were 157 people for the midnight release on Friday, 213 for the Saturday release, 40 teams for the 2HG, and only 32 people for the Sunday (because product ran out) release.

((157+213+32) x 6) + (40 x 8) --> 2732 boosters opened.

So these cards are not reprints, but actual old cards? So it's now possible to open up a poor beta mox sapphire?
