Slightly more serious than my ninjas and pirates in unholy matrimony.  Here's the deal though - I have decided I hate tutor effects in EDH because it makes my turns take too long, so I've decided not to use tutors other than things that fetch basic lands.

Anyway, the general gist of the deck is that Kraj is excellent to duplicate effects like Archivist and Arcanis, but can become exceptionally scary when he's mimicing a morphling and going to the dome for a shrouded 20 in the air.  Or, failing that, it's funny to use him to inflate Triskelion.

Here's my current list, I still need to cut three cards from it:

Experiment Kraj, Blob of Awesome!

Cytoplast Root-Kin
Cytoplast Manipulator
Arcanis the Omnipotent
Murkfiend Liege
Plaxcaster Frogling
Trygon Predator
Morphling
Archivest
Woodfall Primus
Viridian Zealot
Keiga, the Tide Star
Mulldrifter
Genesis
Mist Dragon
Simic Guildmage
Ninja of the Deep Hours
Simic Sky Swallower
Triskelion
Seedborn Muse
Mystic Snake
Pygmy Hippo
Sakura-Tribe Elder
Coiling Oracle
Cold-Eyed Selkie
Gilder Bairn
Glen Elendra Archmage

Hinder
Sylvan Library
Nevinyrral's Disk
Oblivion Stone
Search for Tomorrow
Rampant Growth
Explosive Vegetation
Doubling Season
Bribery
Primal Command
Cryptic Command
Sensei's Divining Top
Fable of the Wolf and Owl
Lightning Greaves
Exclude
Desertion
Future Sight
Kodama's Reach
Opt
Sleight of Hand
Impulse
Ponder
Serum Visions
Mindslaver
Fact or Fiction
Blatant Thievery
Biomantic Mastery
Relic of Progenitus
Krosan Grip
Seal of Progenitus
Prosperity

Needs to be more combo-tastic.  Kraj craves the combo.  Here's what I've figure out so far:

2+ mana guy (Bloom Tender, Elvish Abberation, Fyndhorn Elder, Greenweaver Druid, Nantuko Elder, Viridian Joiner)   +   Pili-Pala    =   Infinite mana of any color and infinite +1/+1 counters on all your creatures

3+ mana guy (Elvish Abberation, Rofellos)  +  Gilder Bairn   =   Infinite +1/+1 counters on all your creatures

Bloom Tender   +   Knacksaw Clique   =   Mill any number of opponents  (this also works with any 2 mana guy + color filter like Orochi Leafcaller)

Bloom Tender    +   Leech Bonder   =   Infinite Green Mana

Man, infinite combos in multiplayer?  That just seems wrong.

If you don't want to go infinite, you don't nessisarily have to - however I would definately look into abusing Kraj a bit more.  There are some really interesting artifact creatures that use and abuse +1/+1 counters.  Like Spinal Crusher, Lunar Avenger, Penatvus, Sawtooth Thresher, Arcbound Ravager.  Also penty of creaturs with crazy abilities with or without +1/+1's   Like all those crazy spike creatures!

A lot of those are cards I considered, and thought to be too weak in spite of the synergy.  Lunar Avenger, Sawtooth Thresher, and Arcbbound Ravager fit in that category.  Sure it's cute to give them counters, but even with a couple bonus counters they all sorta suck.  By Spinal Crusher, I assume you meant Spincrusher, which is cute and seems reasonable - the fact he makes his own counters keeps the demand down on Kraj, but Kraj getting to mimic unblockable is definitely huge and largely appreciated.  Pentavus I would like a lot more if damage still used the stack, but since it doesn't Pentavus seems kind of weak to me.  I might run him anyway just because he's fun and amusing with Doubling Season and Kraj, but he doesn't seem very strong.

Now Spike Weaver, that card gives me a boner.  I am definitely cutting someone for him.  Spike Feeder may find a home too, though the other spike men are all pretty awful.  Better than Simic Guildmage though, so I think he's getting cut for Weaver right now.

Looking at the suggestions for a more combo-tacular Kraj, Leech Bonder strikes me as an interesting card that is not on its own degenerate, just kind of amusing and fits the deck's theme.  I might run him even though I can't combo out with him, just because he's kind of cool.

Skill Borrower seems amusing as hell.
