Ok, thanks for sharing...

Also, Thoughtcast is a sorcery.

Some quick hits:

-Since you're budget, I'm not going to suggest things like Moxen or Lotus, or even Mana Crypt, but definitely Sol Ring and probably Mana Vault would be good here.

-Chromatic Star is better than Chromatic Sphere, though you're pretty light on colored spells so I'm not even sure that either are worth it.

-Having no sacrifice outlet like Ravager makes Disciple look pretty underwhelming.

-Welding Jar seems weak.

-Genesis Chamber and/or Arcbound Crusher could be fun in this.

-Switch the Spheres for the Stars and this becomes Extended legal.

-3 Welding Jar

+4 Skullclamp
+1 Mana Vault
+1 Lotus Petal

I can't think of what else that are must add/removes without necessitating adding something like black lotus (for retriever shenanigans) or workshop (for crusher and everything else).

Some cards to consider:
Springleaf Drum for acceleration
Rite of Consumption/Shrapnel Blast/Fling as Finish HIM
Blinkmoth Nexus/Mishra's Factory as lands

Propably i would cut some lands as seen extended versions that run 18 lands...

If you are going to run Affinity with Skullclamp (which I think you should), I think Myr Servitor is a fine 1 drop.  Better than Arcbound Worker, in my opinion.

Since you're propably never going to add Workshop...
Atog and possibly one of the of cards mentioned before (Fling, Soul's Fire, Berserk) might make a nice addition along with Springleaf Drum to help out the mana a bit. My similar list for MTGO also only runs 18 lands (but those include Glimmervoid) and Meddling Mage on the SB to be named to whatever anti-artifact tech your opponent is playing. If you could afford those it might be worth trying. Having an Atog and Fling / Soul's Fire makes the deck's godhand considerably faster risking you to scoop to removal... But I'd guess none of the friends you play this with is running any. Just a couple lower-budget (compared to what you have now expensive) suggestions.
