Hello everyone.
I am new to The Mana Drain, and I need some help with a new deck I recently made. The theme of the deck is getting very big, powerful creatures into my graveyard and bringing them back in various ways. Any input is appreciated, so here is a preumptive thanks.

Ok so here is what I am running right now:

Lands:
4 Underground Sea
4 Flooded Strand
2 Island
2 Swamp

Spells:
3 Buried Alive
4 Exhume
2 Reanimate
2 Victimize
4 Dark Ritual
4 Force of Will
2 Show and Tell
1 Demonic Tutor
1 Vampiric Tutor
1 Brainstorm
1 Frantic Search
1 Mystical Tutor
1 Tinker
1 Ponder
1 Sol Ring
1 Thirst for Knowledge
1 Black Lotus
1 Ancestral Recall
1 Mox Jet
1 Mox Saphire

Creatures:
4 Merfolk Looter
1 Sphinx of the Steel Wind
1 Hellkite Overlord
1 Garza Zol, Plague Queen
1 Iona, Sheild of Emeria
1 Blazing Archon
1 Angel of Despair
1 Thraximundar
1 Reya Dawnbringer
1 Akroma, Angel of Wrath
1 Prince of Thralls

If you have input on what to cut, add, or anything that will help me out I think it is well needed, so thanks a bunch.

I would suggest running 4x Entomb, since it is a cheaper way than Buried Alive to get creatures from your library into your deck.

I think that the Merfolk Looter/Victimize plan is too slow.  It also really sucks to get it countered.  I think you should cut the Looters for 4x Careful Study and replace Victimize with another 2cc single target reanimate spell.

I also don't think that so many creatures are necessary.  Without an outlet+animates they can end up cluttering up your hand.  So, focus on the most powerful creatures like Iona--I would definitely cut Prince of Thralls, Thraximundar, Garza Zol, and Reya Dawnbringer.  You should try to win just by getting 1 creature into play and protecting it--this is why I think you need more disruption to slow down your opponent and make sure that your animate resolves, so with the slots you free up you can add 4x Duress.

With the creature count reduced Show and Tell becomes weaker and can be cut, allowing you to add Time Walk and Yawgmoth's Will, which are both too good not to run.

Also since you are running Dark Rituals I would cut something for Necropotence, since it allows you to draw an insane amount of cards, giving you enough resources to easily bin, reanimate, and protect a creature.

Another powerful creature to consider is Sundering Titan, since he can devastate your opponent's mana base--I would consider cutting a redundant creature for him (i.e. you don't need to have both Hellkite and Akroma, nor all of Archangel, Archon, and Sphinx, since both of these sets of creatures perform similar roles)

Your fetches are supposed to be Polluted Deltas, right?

@Guli.
Gatherer isn't up to date. Look here Entomb got unbanned when TFK got restricted.

@Topic
I'd suggest taking it more into this direction. Adding stuff like Animate dead and esprecially Iona seems very strong.

Ok, so I did some much needed tweaking with the help of some people who responded to my thread, thanks, and now this is the new and improved "yard" deck. This is how is goes now.

Lands:
4 Underground Sea
4 Polluted Delta
2 Island
2 Swamp

Spells:
4 Entomb
4 Exhume
2 Reanimate
2 Animate Dead
4 Dark Ritual
4 Force of Will
4 Duress
4 Careful Study
1 Demonic Tutor
1 Vampiric Tutor
1 Brainstorm
1 Frantic Search
1 Mystical Tutor
1 Ponder
1 Sol Ring
1 Thirst for Knowledge
1 Black Lotus
1 Ancestral Recall
1 Mox Jet
1 Mox Saphire

Creatures:
1 Sphinx of the Steel Wind
1 Hellkite Overlord
2 Iona, Sheild of Emeria
1 Blazing Archon
1 Angel of Despair
1 Akroma, Angel of Wrath

I slimed down the creature base to creatures that have a use ability, are just an over all threat to my opponent(s), something very controlling, or hasty. I also cut the merfolk looters for the careful study and I switched out the buried alives for entomb. If you have any more imput it would be greatly appreciated.

i would try and make room for windfall even if it only comes in post board. it is very efficient for filling the yard and not creating card disadvantage. however your mana base seems a bit light if you were to ad this i would suggest the addition of mana crypt. this would help with double casting reanimate spells. i also think petal is to good not to run. an extra tutor/study on first turn is nice. after you ritual off 1 land do you usually find yourself needing a blue mana free to finish the turn?
i would also consider 1 buried alive as a tutor target, and depending on your final creature choices, mention the possibility of dragon's breath.
