Mostly red decks focus around just "burning" people out. This variation focuses around playing creatures and using them to burn your opponent with either Soul's Fire or Fling. This is a casual deck so be gentle. This is what the deck consists of.

4 Pandemonium
4 Fling
4 Soul's Fire
4 Lightening Bolt
4 Incinerate
4 Spark Elemental
4 Ball Lightning
4 Hellspark Elemental
4 Seething Song
4 Desperate Ritual
4 Rite of Flame

Alright let me know what ya think about it.

Please post the manabase as well. One cannot evaluate a deck without the manabase.

At first glance, how do you deal with Douse Wink?

Why do you think pandemonium is any good?  Same with soul's fire or fling.  How do you expect to consistantly be able to get these cute tricks to work?  Not too mention have the mana available to play your "die at eot" guys and the use these spells (fling soul's fire)?

This is also an issue worth addressing.

Another question is why do you believe this would be able to compete with any type1 strategies?  How do you plan to defend against combo decks?  How will you be able to keep up the pace against shops? What about Oath?

He did say it was "casual". While that is entirely a new can of worms as to why it is on a forum dedicated to competitive Vintage, many of Vassago's points apply.

In general, the "Ball Lightning" family is also best not used over the traditional "Burn people out" cards and/or permanent threats. They're both vulnerable and self-solving, making it the worst of both worlds when it comes to damage dealing effects. Typically permanents backed by the most efficient burn spells is the way to go, if burn can be considered a "way to go" to begin with.
