Hey, recently i went to try to respond to a post this post: http://www.themanadrain.com/index.php?topic=39415.0
 but there wasn't a button to reply to it and then I went to a moderator to see if I could PM them but I wasn't able to do that.

Is there something I am missing?

AFAIK, you need ten posts to go from New User to Basic User. Basic Users are able to post in the Tournament Announcement Forum; New Users are not.
