A big vintage tournament was held in Hanau, Germany (close to Frankfurt). About 125 players played 7 rounds plus top 8 for a bunch of power pieces and winner cups.

Complete coverage can be found here:

It is in german but you will find your way to the decklists and metagame analysis  Wink

Some pictures I took are here:

I played Horden Tendrils and finished 20th with 5:2:0 losing to Tezz and AggroMUD, winning against GWSx, Sui, another Tezz, Elves! and NobleFish.
GWSx (piloted by Goswin Zeeman) started both games with double ritual, duress/thoughtseize and SadSac against me. I won both games  Smile - Cheers to 3 Tendrils maindeck!

I'm really impressed with the winner's decklist. I love every creature he runs. I've always had a big place in my heart for rogue decks.

He has 61 cards. Is Sigil of Distinction really in his list?

Me too, and that doesn't happen a lot.

Yes, it is a 61 card list. He played Sigil even before in a 60 card list. A friend of mine played against him and was faced with an equipped 6/6 Selkie attacking him.

These must be some of the coolest deck lists in a top 8 I've seen recently!
Congratulations to all!

I still dislike the lack of synergy between Moon effects and 5 islandwalkers.  Confused

I played BR Stax and went 4-2-1.

Don't worry, it doesn't fit mine either.

I still dislike the lack of synergy between Moon effects and 5 islandwalkers.

After play testing the deck, there isn't much synergy involved with it's game plan. If you resolve a Magus off fast mana you lock your opponent. You can still hard cast a Selkie for a beater. Inkwell is a tinker target. You could run 3 bounce, but the architect decided to run a Hurkyl, Tinker, and a target. This was a solution that worked for a ub fish deck before Tarmogoyf that I developed with my team a long time ago as an answer to oppenent's Tinker.

This deck has 16 land with a lot of 3cc UU creatures. You have a huge bomb in Magus as you are 2 color.

The strangest card (perhaps in vintage) is Vendilion Clique.
