I Know this is pretty last minute for many of you, but Alex of Kings Games just notified me he will be hosting a Mox tournament this weekend.  The Specs are below


What:  MTG Vintage 10-Proxy Mox Tournament
Where:  Kings Games
            1685 East 15th Street
            Brooklyn, NY 11229

When:  Saturday January 9th, 2010
Registration:  10:00 am - 10:50 am
Start Time:  11:00 am SHARP (this will be strictly enforced)
Entry Fee:  $25 USD
Proxies:  10 Proxy Limit

1st Place = Unlimited FR Mox Pearl
2nd Place = Mana Crypt
Top 4 = Beta Regrowth

There will be 5 rounds of Swiss for 32 or fewer players, and 6 rounds of swiss if we break 32
The prizes are guaranteed at 20 people and will scale up with more players

Yes, not to much time to prepare, I will try to go anyway, but I have a Birthday party the friday night and it would depnd in the hangover or in my success with any girl.... ok more likely will depend on the hangover Smile.

I'll consider coming, though I am wary of a tournament that you have to win in order to come out ahead.

Just FYI, you're competing against multiple tournaments on Long Island this weekend:

They're standard events, but I'm expecting 50+ from Long Island alone for the Baneslayer tournament.  There's also the snow to consider. 

Also, not to be too critical, but at 20 people, it looks like the store's cut is 40% or so.  That seems a little high.
