Very cool idea. My favorite thing about Vintage is deckbuilding, so I think this is great.
Recalling some discussions in the past on theory related the B&R list, I would just like to say that I've always wished Vintage worked like this. Not the Gush era specifically, just a constantly shifting B&R list. The massive card pool was always bound to bottleneck the format, and changing the rules at a frequency that is inverse to the pool size is the only way to keep things interesting.

This is what I love about some of the online TCGs I play currently... They have a constantly shifting banned list that changes every week based off player votes. And players gain votes based on how well they do in events. Either way, I really like these ideas and I wish I live closer (or it was closer to me.) I currently have off that day, but I have to work Sunday morning (which would be hell on the travel.) I hope you get a great turn out though along with some amazing tournament reports ^.^ |

I swept the swiss, beating Flash, Empty Gush and Demars Style Gat, then IDing with Carp. Seroogy beat me in 3. Can't beat when I duress him and three turns later he has Flash + Backup. Game 3 he had turn 1 duress, turn 2 scroll-> Flash, turn 3 flash + Fow. Again. Can't beat that.
