Enchantment
Whenever an opponent discards a card, you may put a quest counter on Quest for the Nihil Stone.

At the beginning of each opponent's upkeep, if that player has no cards in hand and Quest for the Nihil Stone
has two or more quest counters on it, you may have that player lose 5 life.

This card looks great in a pox build. It may not be strong enough, but it seems to end the game rather quickly if activated. I know people have been trying to build pox for years, and this may be a chance for at least the casual players to play pox.

the meat of the deck would  be:

4 quest
4 duress
4 thoughtseize
4 smallpox
3 pox

4 dark ritual

and maybe tombstalker for power.

raven's crime seems to be awsome in this deck, slowly eating away cards until there isn't any left.

there are still a couple glaring issues.

1) no draw engine. confidant gets eaten by poxes. is night's whisper viable?

2) winning in a timely manner might be an issue. perhaps bloodghast could make an apearance? he comes back, and enables therapy, which seems awsome in this deck.

3) you may run out of permanents, especially land. ravens crime makes this worse. maybe crucible of worlds is the solution?

this may be the last time you hear the boogie song.

this seems too slow for vintage. it takes 2 discard effects to turn on and then it's a 4 turn clock.

I think Legacy has a home for this deck, and yes I think Crucible of Worlds seems like an auto-include with that much loss of permanents. I just don:t think it fullfills the requirement to either:

1. Do really broken things (Tezz, TPS, Oath, Dredge)

2. Stop really broken things really efficiently and a fast clock or a hard lock to boot (Noble Fish, Stax, GW beats)

to do well in Vintage (yes I knwo it's oversimplifying, but its a good way to think of deck in the format that have the potential to be Teir 1).

yes discard is good, but it will still take at least 3 turns to strip their hand without a nut draw. TPS and Oath certainly have critical turns by turn 3 in many cases, Tezz often does as well, and Stax may have you locked out by the time this sort of thing becomes relevant.

To sum up- I think Vintage is too fast for this deck.

Disclaimer- a build with 4 Null Rod and 4 Leylineof the Void maindeck might just work. Could something like that that be sorted out?

Casting Cost : B

Its very close to Black Vise.

At 0 cards. This deals 5, VIce deals 4. I would rather play Black vice than this. I dont think this card will make it in vintage.

This card sucks for the same reason megrim sucks.  Normally I am a fan of cards that a generally good by themselves, and this card literally does nothing on its own.
