That's pretty much the main place for Legacy info.

I haev a first turn Llanowar Elf. He casts Ancestral, a slightly stronger card from the same set.

www.deckcheck.net is the best source for decklists.

I'm pretty sure I'm going to roll with some kind of counterbalance/standstill based list; do people have any particular recommendations for those since there are so many variations ?

Fantastic Steve! Thanks. Still not sure which version to build since I can do most any version ( don't have Gofys or Vials though).

Vials should be a simple low cost monetary fix (right?), and if you NEED Goyfs, maybe you can borrow them?

I'm pretty set on my landstill deck - but I can't think of what to build for my friend that is also going. I tired a version of Pikula B/W but it lacks sinkholes/wastelands and hence doesn't work well enough currently.

This is what I had him trying :
4 spectral lynx
4 bloodghast
4 tidehollow sculler
4 hypnotic specter
2 sensei's divining top
2 abyssal prosecutor
4 hymn to torach
4 cabal therapy
3 STP
3 diabolic edict
3 vindicate
3 dark ritual
2 undiscovered paradise
2 scrubland
2 tainted field
3 plains
6 swamp
4 marsh flats

Any ideas on improvements or how to take the deck into a different direction ?
