I am already in the pre-planning stages for the next one, which should be in May. Thanks again for all the support!

P.S. Team Baltimore is calling out all the out of towners that didn't make it, there were 20 - 25 locals I think. I know some had good reason, but it was assumed the turnout would spike. A few definitely had words for Team NJ. Maybe we can have some "grudge matches" next time, lol. Karl and the gang are really feeling themselves right now. I would like to personally congratulate all the local players who did well, our people are really stepping it up. Especially Matt and Ben, who are great plyers period, but have little to no Vintage experience and smashed.

This was scheduled opposite a ptq in Philly and I think also vintage in NY, so that was a problem. I will make the next one.

Scheduling is getting difficult, dodging other events is more and more daunting. I will try to be more careful with the next date.

i'd like the t8's thoughts on the relevancy of thada in fish. if the fish players thought he was a bomb or forgettable, and how their opponents ranked him in their perception of threats.

so yeah. if you played this event, please chime in.

I didn't play fish, but of course I know all these guys, and Paul who came in 2nd is a playtest partner. We've talked about it, and he and Karl love it. Karl got it T1 against Ben in a game in semis and won off the strength of that. Paul is a huge advocate, it unanswered is blowouts in the mirror and Vault matches, as well as being good in general in the rest, save maybe TPS. I'll ask Paul to join in on this.

unless this is post board, and it steal a jitte, i'm 100% lost on how its relevant in the mirror. evasion + exalted is cute and all, but other creatures have evasion. it seems weak vs stax, marginal vs oath, great vs tezz, bad vs fish, and marginal vs tps (taking lotus vs them should be decent though). but that is merely my perception, and i'd like to see how it matches vs actual tournament games.

It's actually pretty good against Oath.  Most play Key/Vault, and many play Tinker + Robot now as well.

for the record, this is the type of input i desire. actual scenarios. in bant fish, i see how the card may play a role within context of a gamestate, since you should have either trygon or pridemage making the oath plan hard for them.

I've never played Fish but I'd think that stealing a Crucible vs. Stax/MUD would be very strong if you had a Wasteland already in play or in yard.  Also if you are somehow out perming them which is unlikely could get Tangle Wire but Crucible seems like the obvious choice.  From my brief stints with Stax being to able recur Wastelands on their board makes the plan of Tangle Wire->Smokestack a lot stronger but if they can recur lands then this option is diminished.  That said Stax is much less popular than MUD right now it seems.

Interesting top 8, thanks for posting it.

The Goblin-list misses 4 cards maindeck.

Thanks to all the 4 of's in my list it fits on one side of the deck registration sheet except for my mountains which I think got overlooked. There should be 6 mountains main deck if I'm counting right.
