So, I spoke to Greg Bellows who works at Shuffle and Cut now and he told me that they are willing to throw a tournament whenever there are 8 players.

Why don't we start scheduling it now? Let's pick a date when everyone is comfortable and then we can all go to Shuffle & Cut (or somewhere else like Knightware) and meet up?

I am good every Saturday or Friday night. I can try to do Sunday afternoons.

August 14,27,28,29 would be good. I can try to make it on August 17-20 too.

NOTE:
Please reply if you play Type 1 and live in SoCal!!!

August 29 isn't a good date, since Knight Ware Inc. is hosting one of their large legacy tournaments on that day.

How about Sunday on labor day weekend at knightware (weight lose a few people to pt Amsterdam)? I talked to Lori before gencon and she said it could be that Sunday or the following. But g p Portland is the next weekend. Third Sunday is superstars. And there may be some people headed there.

PS. this is Phil who is often the judge at knightware.

Labor Day weekend...so that would be September 4th-5th right? If so I can make it.

We are in the middle of August though, would it be possible to have one right now if not at Knightware than at Shuffle & Cut?

I am out of town the next two weekend. And I think some people might be going to San Jose this weekend.

The first weekend I am back is the kw legacy event.

Hi all,

This is Lori from Knight Ware Inc.

If there is interest,
I would be happy to have a vintage tourny on
Sunday of Labor Day weekend (9/5/10)

I was unsure if anyone would attend as this is typically an out of town weekend.

(originally wanted 9/12/10 but all the judges are going to portland)

What do people want for entry fee / prize support / # of proxies?

let me know

thanks

I would like to see ten proxies and cut it down from there. So fifteen would be agreeable.  20$ is fine. Store credit would be a good prize, you had quite a bit of eternal and standard singles when I was last in.

I know that myself and two other of my T1 buddies can't make it that weekend; going to SF for female companionship.  I gather that Phil is going to Portland the weekend of the 12th, but what about Jack Cummings for judge?
