Konnichiwa,

It's been a long, long time since I've been here.  I'm surprised to even still have an account, but here I am.  To those who were around back in the day when I was active, what's good?  To everybody else, nice to meet you.

Long story short, sometime back around 2006 I sold the last of my cards, graduated from university, and ended up living and working in Tokyo, Japan.  I haven't played or even thought about MTG until recently when I found out by chance that Worlds 2010 is happening here in my backyard (Chiba, Japan).  Though I don't have any plans to get back into MTG for good, it would be nice to spend an afternoon flopping cardboard and casting magic spells.  Rather than just watch, I'd like to join in one of the side tournaments but don't have anything to play with.

If anybody is planning on attending Worlds and would be willing to loan me a deck, I'd appreciate if you drop me a line.  In exchange I could buy you lunch/translate for you/give you a place to crash/something else.  There are probably still a few folks around who met me back when I lived in Connecticut and would vouch for me.

I hope to hear from someone.  And even if you won't be at Worlds but I've met you in person or online in the past, drop a line and catch up!

Cheers,
-Eric

Wow Eric Spinelli...
Hey, you seem to have made quite a name for yourself in the past couple years.  Good on you.

Come to think of it you may be right.  I sold my p9, duals, drains, etc., but I did hang on to my fine collection of Blood Pets and Cuombajj Witches.  Either that or nobody else wanted so many dead bunnies, no matter how rad.

P.P.S. I now realise that it is possible that you have mistaken Holland for Iraq as neither have weapons of mass destruction.

Worlds is this coming weekend.  Though I don't have any exact plans, I may be going on Saturday the 11th.  If anybody from TMD will be there or in Japan this week, drop me a line.
