PROPS
Scott and Brad who made T4.  These two players have had a long history at Black Gold of just missing playoffs in our events.  They both finally broke that barrier and everyone gave them a nice round of applause for their performance.  GREAT JOB GUYS!

SLOPS
To all the no-shows.

You forgot SLOPS to me, for designing two of the worst decks in the tournament and coming in dead last.  I guess that's what happens when you play a bad deck badly!

In my defense, I was expecting more Gush...

LOL Carl. I sense some hostility. Brad and I played 2 games for fun and I won easily. I offered a split so I could get out and see the girl. Maybe I should have played it out? Nothing makes me happier than dreamcrushing BlackGold!

Although, Marcus did beat me round 1 and win a wild evocation from me.

Also, no props for me? If I recall, I'm 2 for 2 since coming back  Wink

Again, thanks for hosting the tourney. Great times with great people. I too was disappointed by the small showing. I'd hate to see Vintage die in CO. Anyways, looking forward to the next one!

@Colin: It was good playing with you. You left before Jimmy had the chance to return your cities. I gave them to Carl, so he'll have them for you next time you stop by Black Gold.

You too, man, even if our game was my absolute worst bomb of the day.  How I managed to misplay my way to a loss against MUD running 16 or so maindeck artifact removal is beyond me.

Vintage won't die as long as the core 10 or so people still enjoy coming.  We just need to work harder to get more new people in.  I brought a newbie... where was everyone else, yo?
