Not sure if he posts here, but I would be really interested to hear how the Azorius Guildmages worked out in Hiroto's Noble Fish list. Seems like a pretty steep activation cost to leave open each turn.

The guildmages beat me singlehandedly in the top 8. One time he used it to counter a time vault activation when I was dead on board. The other time I tinkered up sphinx of the steel wind and he just tapped it down and killed me. I am not sure about its inclusion or how it was all day for him, but he certainly trounced me with them.

Anything that helps Fish beat Oath and that pesky Sphinx sounds good to me! Will have to lay my hands on some and give them a whirl... thanks for the response.
