The best possible deck?

I'm not quite sure if this is the right section of the forums to post this, but here it goes:

Recently, my playgroup and I have been having a discussion about what deck/decks would be dominant in a format if EVERYTHING was unrestricted (excluding ante cards, chaos orb and other such cards.) Seeing as my playgroup is mostly casual/t2 competitive with only 2 legacy players, we didn't really know what we were talking about. I figured that if anyone would be informed on this topic it would be the users at themanadrain.

So what would happen? Would the format devolve into dumb turn one combo decks with x4 black lotus and force of will/pact of negation? Would it be, in any way, balanced? Would it come down to everyone playing the exact same deck?

Please, give your opinions on what decks would be run/not run, and what we would see in that kind of metagame.

I should also probably mention that I haven't been on this forum for very long, so if this has been brought up before, someone tell me.

Storming out with Leyline of Anticipation seems pretty insane to me. Even against an opponent with T0 Chalice, the aggressor's Leyline trumps the other in this scenario.

yea the only thing I didnt like about steve's article is that he doesn't use Contract from Below in any of his decks.  draw 7's for 1 mana wins games.

Try searching TMD for type 0 (or something along those lines) - I know we've discussed it before (probably in the Casual forum at that).
