Awhile ago I tried making a deck using Leyline of Anticipation.  Problem was, that Leyline was the weakest part of the whole deck.  What I really liked, though, was Opulecense.  I found myself wanting to draw that always because it typically gave me a pair of 4/4s pretty quick.

With that in mind, I retooled to include more useful Leylines.  Here's what I'm going to take a shot at next:

Mana Base (21)

2 Marsh Flats
1 Windswept Heath
4 Verdant Catacombs
2 Bayou
2 Scrubland
1 Savanna
1 Murmuring Bosk
2 Swamp
2 Plains
1 Forest
1 Mox Emerald
1 Mana Crypt
1 Strip Mine

Leylines (16)

4 Leyline of Sanctity
4 Leyline of the Void
4 Leyline of Lifeforce

Kill (3)

2 Opalescence
1 Helm of Obedience

Disruption (20)

3 Duress
2 Thoughtseize
2 Nature’s Claim
1 Vindicate
1 Maelstrom Pulse
2 Tidehollow Sculler
3 Gatekeeper of Malakir
2 Cabal Interrogator
4 Quasali Pridemage

Search (3)

1 Vampiric Tutor
1 Demonic Tutor
1 Demonic Consultation

The idea is to leverage the power of the Leylines to the maximum.  Sanctity and Void attack Oath, Tendrils, and Dredge head-on.  Lifeforce makes your creatures - which double as removal and discard - uncounterable.

I suppose the battle plan is to start with an edge thanks to the Leylines, use discard abilities to discourage opponents from building up a hand for one big turn, and eventually either beat with weenies or land Opulencese for the win.

Strange mana base (with only one mox) is set up because that's what I own.  Could be improved.  Also, Murmuring Bosk may be too cute.

cut the vindicate and maybe the pulse; theyre a bit too expensive to be worth the slots vs stax, and they are too slow for tezz or storm. I'd also find some way to fit in 3-4 night's whisper.

Serra's sanctum, homie!

This!

Replenish is also strong here.

I find that this deck idea works best with 16-20 leylines.  The red one is surprisingly useful, you might wanna check it out.

If you go the white route with Sanctum, Leonin Relic Warder becomes really strong. Especially with uncounterability. You might then want to consider either Mindcensor or Leonin Arbiter, since either can stop or slow Tinker while adding to mana denial. Mana denial seems strong in this kind of deck.

Also Oblivion Ring might be worth it over Pulse since it hits Blightsteel. Also has synergy with enchantment theme, but that's just gravy.

Have you considered academy rector?  throwing him infront of an opponents attacker seems good.  or you could always gatekeeper him to kill him and go get a leyline or opalesence.
