Hey all,
On the topic of Myr Welder: To quote H in the General Strategy boards,
"Does this do what i think it does with Time Vault?  Wow, could be quite abusable then."
Why not have an Oath deck, much like Titan Oath, where the one creature is Myr Welder - one uses Krosan Reclaimation and Scroll Rack to stay alive after Vault Key?
This is, admittedly, highly unstable. Nonetheless, it's an idea worth discussing.
Go nuts.

due to summoning sickness - id rather play the storm win if im going to dump my deck into the yard, as opposed to waiting around 2 more turns for this guy to time vault win.

Yeah, if I was going for any sort of new Oath variant dependent on milling myself, I'd run Blightsteel Colossi and 4x Dragon Breath. That ramps the lethality % of your first Oath turn significantly. Chumping with a bear doesn't even work, they need at least 3 in the butt worth of fodder to survive the swing.

Edit: Changed my mind. The BSC thread goes into this in more depth, but I'd run Emrakul over BSC in such a list.

I suppose it's mostly the thought that this format is just one big Mistake; and not even a very sophisticated one at that.
Much like humanity itself.
