Finally, Vintage has come back to northern Ohio!
I think I'll be packing my rototiller to destroy this grass roots program.

There should be a prize for distance traveled. I'd like to drive 8 hours and then get beaten out for that by the guy who flies in from Colorado.

Here is a sample of possible prizes you could give out.
Prizes for........ - who has the most turn one kills? - who ever can get Yangtime to unleash his furious interpretation of Riverdance. - first person to assassinate someone's sandwich - most pieces of power 9 eaten by a single person - beating Mark "Snoop Trogg" Trogdon in a game of pool - most creative MTG tattoo - most Monster B.F.C.'s drank - the White Castle Slider burger challenge....
Just some thoughts yo

I agree with this furthest distance prize...since I'll probably win. Which will probably the only thing I'll win all day...

This thread is pretty great, because the only people posting in it are Cleveland MtG players. This tournament will be 1000% serious. If anyone is on the fence about it, just go. It will be awesome.

Does this mean that we can annex this thread in the name of Cleveland, OH? What's this 'White Castle' challenge that you speak of? Does it involve this? Or perhaps, this?

I think the prize for 'Longest Distance Traveled' should be that there is no way you can get the BYE round one. Because no one likes driving/flying hours and then sitting on their duff during round one

I will challenge anyone in a White Castle eating contest--cards or burgers. I haven't had a slider in several years, so my stomach lining should have fully recovered and be good to go.

We should have an MTG party at your pop's house..... Booze, hot tub, 73 Cadillac Snoop De-Ville, and one mic so Yangtime can get his rap battle on.

Although, not previously said, I plan on going to this and every Team Serious event that isn't interrupted by work.

It looks like there will be a strong showing from Cleveland for this one. We've got two cars going right now! If others are interested, we'll be popping into Berardi's before the tournament for some delicious french fries. After the tournament, we usually get rowdy at Diana's. You can find us by looking around for a bunch of dudesweats high-fiving and being idiots. Also, Twaun is the Asian in a hip-hop battle suit. Here are the addresses: Berardi's Family Kitchen: 1019 West Perkins Avenue, Sandusky, OH 44870 Diana's Deli Restaurant: 3002 Milan Road, Sandusky, OH 44870

There will be a car from Virginia there too!
Just a regular car, though. Please don't blow it up with your dinosaur.
I, for one, am looking forward to Diana's, where the poop cake is no longer served with real poop.

Wow... if there was ever a line to involve the vintage community in a post tourney celebration, you hit it right on the mark.

Wow... if there was ever a line to involve the vintage community in a post tourney celebration, you hit it right on the mark. I think it's important to quell the rumors, okay? If you dine with us after the tournament, you won't be eating poop anymore. Also, I think this could be a great tournament. Let's do this!
