Hero puts 2 dudes into play, attacking, when you attack. (also they get battlecry if you stack it correctly)
Beastmaster's Ascension gets a counter when you attack with a creature. (then your dudes get +5/+5 when it has like 5 counters)

Does Hero's token guys give Beastmaster's Ascension a counter?

I say no, because they are put into play attacking, and beastmaster's ascension triggers when you attack. (so, +1 for Hero, +0 for token guys).

Thanks in advance.

also, does Karn Liberated exile cards from target player's hand face up? I think they do, because only so many cards exile cards face down (Memory Jar, Cloneshell, etc...)

Thanks in advance!

The tokens do not interact with Ascension. The ascension trigger is hit when you declare a creature you control as an attacker during the declare attackers step. Hero bypasses that, so no counters (they'll of course add counters next turn if you swing with them again)

Unless the effect says otherwise, exiled cards are always face up
