http://www.own3d.tv/live/112834/Team_SeriousWe're gonna mess around with this tonight and do some testing, and then tomorrow come check out some live matches from the Team Serious Open (assuming we can get everything up and working at the store). Format will just be a topdown camera or two with no commentary until I scrub out (because there won't really be anyone to watch the camera), with one feature match each round. Once I scrub out or someone else with sufficient typing skills (and sarcastic personality for color commentary) does, I'll try to get some live play-by-play going in the chat so that you can follow along better if you can't read cards. Check this space! I'll post here tonight if we do some test streaming (of testing or dominion or something), and then again tomorrow at round 1! Also, if I don't screw it up, it should record all the matches, so you can go back and watch later and relive Twaun's epic failures over and over again. Thanks a ton for watching!! All the videos of matches are up in the archive (just click the stream link and scroll down).
I'll check the quality of all that when I get home and see if I can get it smoother next time, but I hope it was watchable!
Also, if any TO's want to hear about the setup, PM or email me and I would love to help you get this running. It was really easy for us to set up and I think it made everyone here really excited (who doesnt want a live feature match streamed to the world?). Do this, you need a laptop, a webcam and internet, and everyone gets to see the amazing game that is vintage!

The stream definitely made my day, considering I was tethered to my work computer on a Saturday. I heard you say at one point between rounds to someone present: "Why not stream? It's easy and it's free. They host the videos once recording has finished. Etc." Which is awesome. Having Steve take questions from the chat was pretty cool too.

Vintage is a lovely format, it's too bad so few people can play because the supply of power is so small.
Chess really changed when they decided to stop making Queens and Bishops. I'm just glad I got my copies before the prices went crazy.
