Sorcery   5BBB
Put thirteen 2/2 black Zombie creature tokens onto the battlefield tapped.
Flashback  7BBB

Is this possible for vintage?  With rituals, is 8 mana all that hard on turn 1?

Hmm, don't know.  But if I had 8 mana I would probably rather be casting and activating Belcher for the win.

I love the flavour and art for this card, but it suffers hugely from not being an instant - if it were, it might just about be playable in a janky ritual based deck, allowing you to go Zombie crazy at the end of the opponent's turn, untap and win. But hell, if you can chain enough spells for eight mana on your first turn you should probably either belch as the Humungus says, or tendrils or something.

Feels like a bit of a missed opportunity really - would have been fun to have an alternative to tendrils combo, however janky.

Going straight into some of my EDH decks though! Smile

Or casting double Tendrils.

Come on, 8 mana means having a minimum of 4 acceleration, and this thing can still be countered with no problem.

I'd say Sideboard card.  I'd be hard pressed to find 8 mana turn one,  {B} {B} {B} needed.  Still, funny as all hell when your opponent T1 Tinkers for BSC and you respond with an Army of the Damned. Very Happy

It's even funnier when you promptly lose, since tapped creatures can't block.

Come on, Rich. He didn't really think he needed to spell out flashing in Masako the Humorless for the absolute blow out. That was implied.
