We'll do our best to keep all repairing to a minimum, just don't 0-3 drop too soon Scalzo  Wink

Unfortunately, I will be unable to atten due to this being the date of our prerelease events. Rob, when you win this dedicate your win to me since this will be one tournament where we don't have to play each other round 1-2!

It was 1-2 last time Razz and hopefully I don't play dark times anymore. I lost to that deck even on blue.

I didn't realize that the previous winner got to select the art for the next playmat.

When I saw this I immediately thought of Travis LaPlonte running War Mammoth in 5C Stax at a Waterbury just so he could get it on next year's playmat.

I think I'll be running a 74 card deck and one joke card...

Scalzo did that at this year's Waterbury.  Next year's playmat has Grave Troll, Bridge From Below, Bazaar, Stinkweed Imp, etc.

Yes I'm well aware of this trend at Waterbury. It was MUD and Joe Brown before him and so on.

I had no way of knowing Full of Win was doing something similar considering that I didn't stick around to watch top eight last time and the first playmat was Demonic Tutor not something generic.

I was implying Scalzo played far out and terrible cards solely to get them on the playmat and then somehow stumbled his way to victory.

I'm still confused. Are you trying to poke fun at Dredge?

I was being serious. Something like playing one of the Glyphs from Legends or Tarpan in my sideboard. That, imo, would make an interesting playmat and story for the next winner to tell.

Player A: "Why do you have a playmat with a Tarpan on it?"
Winner: "The real question is, why WOULDN'T you have a playmat with Tarpan? Tarpan is the new big tech. Haven't you heard?"

I was trying to poke fun at Scalzo.  But this has gone like 4 rounds and I feel like they would've taken me off the stage with the crooked staff Little Bo Peep uses.

Just out of curiosity, besides Brienne and Vito (obv.), who's coming to this that has "presents" for me?  Wink

I will not be there and no one in our area will be attending. Prerelease festivities. But, the presents are all wrapped up.
